  1. Indeed. I have have this fondness for flat points. Since I'm new to reloading 9mms, I have to work out a load, etc for my Springfields and a friends Glock 19. Bought a LWC in 9 to see if I'd like it and I've been shooting it more than my 45s.
  2. They also have flat points. I looked and then it's a question of patience for back orders
  3. I'm older, started in IPSC in the 70s. I still practice coming out of the holster.
  4. All my 45acp 1911s love FPs, I started with the Hornady 230 FP back in 1981 and loaded them hot for a BPD buddy. Still do using the Nosler since Hornady dropped their FP. I am new to 9mm, and happened to get some Berry's just for practice (only bullets I could lay my hands on) and at my age, 9mm is easier on this old carcass. I'd like to use 231 because we have a ton of it for 45acp use. This has to work in my Springers and a friends stock Glock 19. Any advise would be greatly appreciated and yes I know this is an old thread
  5. Sorry guys, I am new to reloading 9mm and have no problems with a 9mm 1911 (I'll be adding a 2nd shortly), however a friend of mine has my Dillon and it would be nice to set up a load (preferably 124 grain bullet) that works in both a stock Glock 19 and (the easy one) a 9mm 1911. I normally use 231 if anyone out there knows of a load, it would be a great help One more question, is anyone using coated bullets in a stock Glock 19? Sorry I have to ask, I am NOT a Glock person. The blue bullets look interesting, but after asked two Glock armorers, it's a "not sure" kind of things. Thanks in advance for your help. 45acp is still easy, I'm still using my 44 year old Star.
  6. Are you using a stock Glock barrel? I have a friend with a 19 and need to know if the blues will work OK. Thanks in advance. I know I'm fine with a 1911 in 9mm.
  7. Old IPSC shooter started in the 70s. Ran Brian, Rob Leatham and Chip McCormick as an RO at the early Steel Challenges. Getting back to shooting in IDPA.
