whenever I have high primer or a jam I try to eject the live round and the nose hits the slide and gets stuck. I have to drop the mag and get it out that way. its an STI 38 supercomp, aftec extractor and long ejector. I never had problems before but I just started using hollow pts. OAL is 1238. If I went down to about 1210 it would probably clear. whats the shortest I could go before something else goes wrong?

I bought a tungston guide rod that didnt have a take down hole. 18 drill bits and 3 months later Im one quarter of the way thru. thanks alot shooters connection.

My slide is dragging on the disconnector a little too much. Im woried it might slow down my battery. is there too much tension on the middle leaf spring? Dont tell me to send it to a gunsmith, cause I need it for a match in November. do those drop-in hammer and sear (3 lb ) kits really work. thanks

I have had problems with all 3 of them. the company in carson city nevada will fix them for nothing. they are pretty heavy so the mounting screws keep comming loose. when shooting the 50 yard standards you will have a great advantage when you switch to the tiny dot. you can even switch it in the middle of a stage. but Im going back to cmore. more dependable...

when speaking of comp reamers what does the pilot number mean? brownells sells 2 for 38 super but each has a different pilot number. thanks also what is the proper way to use it.

The guy who won B open defeated 17 master shooters! Maybe he's comfortable during a big match and nervous during classifiers. All in all I thought it was a great match and I will be there next year.
