  1. http://www.novakshandgunneroutlet.com/NHOBarrelPorting.html Here are pics from Tom's web site of what you are asking about.
  2. Here is a pic of my G17 with Carver Mount and C-more. When this pic was taken I had not lowered the ejection port and had fired about 3000 rounds with no malfunctions using my reloads. Currently this gun is being fitted with a competition barrel and comp along with lowering the ejection port. I plan on moving the C-more back farther and felt with the comp it might be better to lower the port as well.
  3. Some folks like the FO sights and do very well with them. I have Dawson Adjustable Target sights on 2 of my Glocks. I decided to try the front FO of theirs. Now it is a great and well built sight but I found myself paying too much attention to the FO and not aligning the top of the post with the top of the rear notch. I switched back to the Dawson .100 plane black blade front sight and my groups improved tremendously. If you are one of the people who can shoot FO fronts then by all means continue but for me just give me a good plane black blade narrow enough to get good light in the rear notch and I am a happy camper.
  4. Welcome to the forums Don. Thanks GuildSF4, I appreciate the welcome. I have only made a couple posts so far but have done some very interesting reading. Seems to be a 1st Class site.
  5. +1 for ghost21; I use 147gr Zero JHP with 3.7gr of N330 for GSSF loads and they shoot great. I got them to work as low as 3.5gr. but settled on 3.7gr for my primary load. They work great in both my 17L U/L and stock 17. The Remington 147gr Match Bullet is also a great one to load but I settled on the 147gr Zero because it worked just a tad better in my guns and was a little more cost effective. I have also shot a few of the Zero 125gr JHP with 4.0gr N330. They did great out to about 15 yards but I found the groups opened up in the 20 to 25 yards ranges.
  6. I am using a Barsto in my G17L for GSSF Unlimited and always use the barrel as the guage. I shoot a stock G17 in the stock classes and the dillon case guage works fine with the stock Glock barrel. I am loading on a Dillon 550B and use the Lee Factory Crimp Die in the last (Crimp) stage. It has eliminated most sizing problems.
