  1. I'm using the Taccom. It's very impressive in function and looks. I thought it was a good value also.
  2. Sounds like the ejector is to tight on the bolt.
  3. I've just fixed this problem in my carbine. Factory jacketed 115 would plunk and spin freely. My coated 147's had to be crazy short to plunk n' spin. The cases where showing signs of over pressure with just 3.2 gr of bullseye. If I tried them any longer (147) they would go into battery, but couldn't manually eject live round, Had to shoot it out. And if they got past 1.10" the gun wouldn't go into battery. I got feed up with it. I just wanted a gun that would run whatever I want to shoot in it. My solution was to lengthen the throat on the barrel. I'm now shooting my coated 147' grain coated Ringers Bullets at 1.14". They plunk n" spin, over pressure signs on primers is gone.
  4. It happens with all ammo, factory and reloads. It will happen more with lower velocity rounds. The spent casing doesn't get thrown out of the action. So, end up with new cartridge trying to go into battery and spent casing all jammed up in the action. I literately cant go 10 rounds with out it happening.
  5. I've had some extractor and ejection issues also, with a Taccom bolt. Tim sent me a re-profiled extractor and the extraction issue was resolved, but still struggling with ejection! I'm running a LeadStar upper and lower and Taccom bolt. I've tried different buffers, springs, etc and still can't get it to run with out jamming up with none ejected casings??? Factory ammo and reloads same problem? can an extractor have to much tension and cause poor ejection? Or is it most likely the ejector in the lower?
