I was speaking with a friend about this and the appeal to him was the possibility of changing the side grip panel (like the CZ or Tanfo) in order to adjust the width and aggressiveness to his personal preference.

    Yes you can do that.

The problem is, SIG Germany will close. But i´ve heard rumors that SIG USA plans to build a similar 320.

  2. Both shoot soft.

I would pick the one on which i get a better freestyle grip.

    - enough space for the support hand? <- very important.(you can make the grip a lot wider on the CZ, the stock grips are very slim)

    - Does the big beavertail of the sig fit my hand, or does it hurt my thumb? <- (there are guys that dremel it.)

    - Do i get full contact to the backside of the grip with the S2´s deep beavertail cutout?

Triggers can be made. CZ more clear and light, SIG more light and rolling. Reset can be made shorter on both, more short on the CZ.

I'm 93% in Prod, I think I know what trying is. I'm not a troll, I'm calling out delusional and sloppy practice.

Even many 110% Guys beat up there magwells.

I tried what you suggested regarding getting low enough in your stance to not see your toes in your lead foot and I must say it feels unnaturally low. To the point of it being hard to hold that position without feeling tension in the quads (which I gather isn't a great thing to have). I'm not the strongest guy in the world but I'm far from the weakest.

Maybe just play around a bit and try to find the highest position in which you can start sprinting hard without doing a dropstep. A bit of tension in the quad is ok, i think.

I think you're right. I tend to have a LOT of weight just on my toes. I guess I've convinced myself that "leaning into" shooting will lessen the amount I get pushed backwards after each shot.

I tried that too. I couldn´t see any advantage, other than standing very wobbly. Better stand very stable and relaxed, just push the but a tiny bit back, thats enough in my eyes, and push a bit into the gun when you really have to. Like if you do a fast billdrill or anything similar that could really push you back.

  6. Looks good. I find that stance still a bit wobbly. Maybe you put to much weight forwards, what leads to counterweight movements when you get the weight of the gun up.

Try not to move your upper body and head at all. Only the hands/arms move.

not sure i understand  what you mean

Look at page 19, the Video, at about 1:40. The Grip gets flat and ends exactly where i would have my support hand palm sit, right under the safety. No friction for my support hand.

I understand what you are saying, but I also think that there are parts of the draw where the biggest fundamental is speed,  as mentioned above there is nothing wrong with the mechanics you are using other than speed.

... and i think your draw will change under speed anyways. If you snap the gun out of the Holster it will come out a bit higher, for example. That changes where your support hand will meet.. and so on.

  9. The Xfive Alpha will be coming at summers end to autumn. SIG told me, July, but my dealer told me yesterday they said, due to corona, it will be more towards autumn.

I have the prizes from SIG, in €

    P320 X-Five Alpha 9 x19 71017914    1.689,00 €

    P320 X-FIVE ALPHA GRIFFSTÜCK + ZUBEHÖR

P320 Alpha Griffmodul (GRIP MODULE) (inkl. Griffschale, Mag Halter und Jet Funnel) 71017920   579,00 €

    Alpha Griffplatten BASIC (Stahl)  (Grip Steel) 71017968 + 71017969     120,00 €

Alpha Griffplatten ACTION (Stahl, m. Einlagen) (Grip - Steel with griptape) 71017838 + 71017839     130,00

    Tape-Einlagen für Alpha ACTION (Griptape)  71017928 + 71017929    28,00 €

Alpha Griffplatten TARGET (Holz) (Grips Wood) 71017842 +71017843  99,00

    P320 Alpha Magazin 19 Schuss 71018380       63,00 €

It´s a aluminium Grip Module, the tungsten weights are in the backstrap only, as far as i know. I find that kind of weird.

The prices are hardcore in my eyes, as always from sig germany.

  10. All the reasons where already said, but there is one more i think:

To get some tenth in rapid fire, a draw and a reaload issn´t that easy once you are at a solid level.

A 1.0 Draw is much harder than a 1.2 Draw

.18 Splits in the Alpha are much harder than .22

1.0 Reload is much harder than 1.2

So to earn a second on this kind of stage (wich you can´t hero or zero at nationals) is a big thing

That means, that´s a stage where you can´t win huge % over the competition but the risk is very high at a major match (as said before)

    Not my argument pal,

Pictures just telling stories...(limited gun stories not production gun stories )

You tell the story, not the pictures...

Or does these pictures tell the story of steel sucking, cause you can put even more weight on?

Both of these world class champions “agree,” that a heavy frame is a good thing, when it comes to shooting major.

With other words,  polymer sucks when shooting .40 according to the pictures...

When it comes to shooting minor, they have no options, if they like it or not...

According to all these steel guns in limited/standard, even steel must suck, as there are many with weights on the steel gun...

This one World-Class Champion even won everything without any weights. Called Production. Oh, and against a lot of heavy steel guns.

Your argument is good for the bar, not more.

  13. 1. If you can shoot straight and can shoot small groups, but your whole group goes to the left, it´s the sights.

    2. If you are new to shooting, you better let someone shoot it, that can shoot small groups.

    3. If you fire fast rapid groups, it´s pretty likely you push the gun to the left, thats pretty common.

I don’t see a big benefit over the Legion. Pretty soon SIG is going to circle back around, “invent” the double action, and sell us rebranded 226s.

The biggest benefit would be, that you finally could buy something for the 320 in europe. It´s almost impossible to get anything for the 320 even in Germany.

A Legion grip comes 416€ with 3 month waiting time, from brownells. You get a CZ p10c for about that price.
