Hello: I have used the standard X5 grip and the Legion grip as well. I have the SSI tungsten insert and also a tungsten guide rod. I have played around with both grips with both setups and guide rods. This is on a X5 not the legion and is for carry optics. I really like the Legion grip but also like the stock grip with the SSI insert. I like the stainless steel guide rod with both setups since it gives me faster transitions than the tungsten guide rod. The Legion grip takes out some of the felt recoil but it is not any faster on the clock. I think it is something you should try yourself to see what works better for you. Remember to use a timer on some drills to see what actually is faster and with better hits. The timer doesn't lie. Thanks, Eric

I think there is more to it than just the times. Comfort. Hits. Hits and times with a bad grip (how easy to shoot). How easy to get a good grip. Return to zero. etc.

Thanks guys, bought a holster from Ben Stoeger this afternoon CompTac Holster on the BOSS hanger with the Blade-TecTec-Lok for the belt.

Had a scare this afternoon after I put in the GreyGuns trigger, it wouldn't FIRE.  I double chcked and it looked like I had it all right.  I pulled it apart and double checked against the pictures I took before I started, it looked good. I thought maybe the overtravel stop was preventing the trigger from traveling far enough... I was holding it aft and it "fired".  I recocked and it fired again... I'm afraid the grease I used for assembly was too sticky for the new light springs?  Don't know for sure but the more I played with it the better it got!  I rechecked with my digital trigger gauge, 2.5 pounds....with almost NO overtravel.  Can't wait to get it to the range!

You don´t need grease in the fcu. You can use a bit to hold the sear springs in place when you assemble tho.

You can use some oil on the moving parts.

  3. Nice ! I sometimes try that in dryfire speedmode too (with coolfire). Even then it´s pretty hard to land at, or even beat 2.00. Even without going hard for 4 Alphas. :)

Have to try it in live fire someday, but i couldn´t  shoot since march due to corona.

I'll give it a run DD

Bimmer- I know they recommend to use just factory parts, but Apex says the same and I'm running  an Apex trigger in an older non upgraded 320 without issues.

Yeah try it. As i said, i´m not sure anymore. I tried almost all configurations (Apex & GG with different triggers, also the AC) and some didn´t work. Often it´s a problem with the overtavel sleeve but you won´t need that with the AC.

All good mate I have one here just curios as to the difference it made. DD I'm coming from an Apex straight trigger and forward set trigger bar using it for IPSC so minimum is 3lb

I´m not 100% sure if it worked with the Apex bar. I think it didn´t.

But if it does, there´s almost no difference in pull weight.

  6. I´m using it, and i love it.

Couldn´t shoot since march due to corona. All i could do, was dryfiring with coolfire. I had 2 livefire trainings in this time period and there was no weird feeling, as there normally would be when you can´t shoot for 5 Month. It felt like i never stopped, i even became better.

The thing with the full kit is that you get the GG sear.

I used his light spring kit, but that sear eliminated that creep that is present in every P320 that I have handled.

    Yes i know.

It was about how to stay above 3lbs (1,36KG) for IPSC.

i also like to know... anybody?

    I know now.

I use the complete GG Kit, with the stock trigger return spring. It´s about 1,5 KG in the middle of the trigger, 1,1 -1,2 KG if you pull on the bottom end. IPSC rule sais, must me messured in the middle of the trigger. So i should be pretty safe.

Sig Sauer Guy tested those and the result was no benefit.

And zero customer service, if I recall.

Don't bother with the Tactical Pontoon Springs.

Save your $20 + shipping and buy ammo.

Mine reduced the weight a good bit over the stock springs. (Apex only Triggerkit)

I think they are about the same like in the GG Kit.

Gauge your finish off your percent not your numerical finish. If you were 5th buy 50% of the winner then it's not that "good". And what was 1st through 4th in classification?

Guns do make a difference. A nicer tool makes the worker's job easier. Notice I didn't say he'd do a better job but it's easier to do the job he's capable of.

And 99% can be worse than 50% 😉 it depends on the winner´s skill level.

Does anyone know if holster compatibility is affected due to the trigger guard, or is the front "hook" the same size while the bottom of the trigger guard is angled upward?

I think nobody can know that, as the gun issn´t produced yet

  12. One of mine where broken within 2 Weeks. No big deal as i noticed it only because i did put a GG Kit in.

Just recently this safety lever on the striker did break after a lot of coolfire training. Thats strange in my eyes.

For those that are "deep cleaning" that requires removal of trigger, what are you doing that for ???

That is over the top, stop it.

Put the fully adjustable trigger in there and leave it in there !

Don't create problems that should not exist.

Well now, there's my 2 cents.

    :D

Thats right. For cleaning you don´t need to do that.

In my case i had to play a lot with the sear and trigger return springs to don´t get under 3lb (IPSC). Still have to be aware of that as the springs wear out and the trigger breaks in.

It´s a pain in the A** to readjust and locktide the trigger every time.

Have any of you tired the adjustable trigger?   Does it remove any of the take up?   What about overtravel.   Just wondering the benefits.  Also armory craft has one.  Anyone with experience using it with either competition kit?

I switched from a hybrid Apex/GG to fully GG. Overtravel is short enough, pretravel doesn´t really matter. The Apex had a shorter reset, which was nice, but somehow i can shoot faster splits with the GG Kit. Must be something about how the trigger breaks or the weight of it.

I have the Armory Craft Trigger too, but i don´t use it. It´s kind of annoying to set it up, locktide the screws and unscrew them to pick the FCU apart. Plus (i heard ) you can deactivate the drop safety if you use the pretravel screw to much.  To me that issn´t worth it. The GG Kit is good enough in my eyes.
