  1. Found myself yelling at the show too much because they would put themselves in the stupid situations that would make things go bad. Saw who neegan batted then stopped after that. Buddy of mine says the whispers season is getting good so may just jump back in there. Got to the point where I was rooting for main characters to die because they annoyed me so much.

  2. Just get a 550. You are already familiar with it and it can be fast enough. I load both pistol and .223 on mine. Less to adjust and makes you focus more on what you are doing so you don't mess something up. Then you and whoever you are sharing the 550 with can swap conversions back and forth when you need them.

  3. Grab another comp-tac. Just got one for a 5" with rail and it takes my home built 9mm government with monolithic slide just fine. Was worried the holster would have molded slide scallops and not work with my non-scalloped slide.

  4. Think the new mags have orange followers, old mags have black. I bought some from cz-usa and 3 were orange follower with 5 different holes in the bodybfor different mag catches. The black ones only had 2 slots for the p09 style mag catch.

  5. Then you make a DIY controller switch that lets you toggle through the shots on your shooting chrony to get High, Low, Avg, SD, ES, and shot count. I am going to make an on/off switch at my remote so I don't have to get up and turn the unit off/on for each new string. Really brings the value of the $80 shooting chrony up with built in math.

To think I have been doing it with a calculator and scratch paper all these years. On lazy days I just avg each shot in my head by going half way between the previous and next shot.

  6. I trim the legs off the stock follower pretty much flush with the bottom. Gets me one more round and still locks the slide back. I am getting 3 rds with the +2 plastic bases, stock spring and follower. Cheapest 3 extra rounds.

  7. I shot a local match with my j frame and pistolwear neoprene holster band and speed strips. Wore t shirt and workout shorts, my summer attire. Found out I needed to trim the tops of my grips to get the shells out faster. Other than that it was fun to stretch the legs on the little gun. Need to switch the powder cause tightgroup got that little gun hot.

  8. I also run my summers bullets through my lee bullet sizer. P09 likes them .356, sp01 shadow and phantom like them .357. Priced cheap enough and enough coating to take the smoke out of shooting plain lead. Plus he has some flat pointed bullets in the .38/.357 section that make nice holes in targets.

  9. I have loaded 244 with 135 summers coated RN in my p09 and shadow 1. 3.5 gives me single digit sd's at 950 fps and nice tiny groups (under an inch). I am liking it.  COAL is 1.1"

  10. Had one give me s#!t about disqualifying me for easing my hammer down after the stage to preserve my firing pin retaining pin. I have the slide held open, you can see there is no mag or round in the chamber. He was my first stage and set the mood for the whole match. It was a p09 with safeties installed.

  11. I actually bought the one that needed repair second hand. Not sure if the guy that sold it to me knew the elevation went bad or not and I didn't check it till after I sent it off to primary machine to mount on my p09. Tried to zero when it came back and elevation didn't click or move the dot. Told them in the rma request that I bought it second hand and didn't seem to matter.
