Does anyone know anything about this old Tanfoglio pistol in 9mm? I've searched the net but could not find any info about this particular model. What's the model name and why does it have target rear sight and extended barrel? A guy from my town is selling one, but he doesn't know anything about this pistol. What's the fair price for this pistol? the pistol appears to be in good condition but no box or extra mag.

Fortunately, the thread is still good. I will try to order some EGD Xtreme grip screws for my aluminum grips. I think it should fit...

I've tried both Tanfo & CZ screws and they're no go. Obviously, too long for my aluminium grips. Does anyone know the correct screws for this type of grips? I stopped by at my local hardware store and they don't have anything close to this size.

I already cut it... Only paid $50 so I wouldn't worry too much... didn't feel like to paying $120 + shipping for that tiny pair of grip panels. The aluminium grip panels are very tough and I ended up chopping it off w/ my metal chop saw. As sfinney suggested, I cut it slightly oversized, then used the flat file to hand fit the grips. Came out pretty good... now, I need a set of screws bad. The old screws sticks out too much. Thanks for your help guys~

Just got an Elite Custom in 9mm and ended up getting Stock III aluminium grip from a private seller. Original wooden grip was too big for me and needed some slim grip for my relatively small hand. Unfortunately, I'm new to the wonderful world of Tanfoglio and didn't know that the Stock III grip was too long for my gun. Since I need to keep the factory magwell, it looks like that I have to cut down the grip to fit w/ my Elite Custom. I've searched the net and couldn't find the method they've used to cut down the aluminium grips. Does anyone know how to properly cut down the aluminium grip w/o damaging or ended up w/ worst case of bubba'ing you've ever seen? I've basic tools like Dremel, file and Ridgid 14" metal chop saw. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I will try to use the factory magwell for now and see if I like it enough to keep it. Thanks for the Lok grip option... I will look into it.

Yeah, Armory Craft magwell looks very nice... I just need one in black color. The seller's wife lost her job and he had to sell it pretty quick...

They all stated that M3.5 but different length... like you said, I guess it depends on the thickness of the grip.

Just brought a Elite Limited and love the gun. Does anyone know the correct screw size for grips? I would like to change it w/ hex screws. Also, does anyone know if CZ hex grip screws work on Elite Limited? Thanks in advance!

Just brought NIB CZ Tactical Sport in 9mm for $900, and the gun looks fantastic. I shot my friend's TS a few mts ago, and it immediately improved my hit probability w/o much effort. My only complain is the somewhat bulky and slippery factory wood grips and very thin magwell. I would like to add a set of CZ factory alminium grips (not the one with skateboard tape) and metal magwell similar to Czechmate or TSO. Does anyone know where to find the Czechmate magwell (CZ USA is out now)? CZ TSO magwell fits on TS as well?
