Agreed, there's a particular spot right behind the extractor pin where you have to cut the dovetail to make it all work.

The funny thing is I switch back and forth between my TS and CM and don't even notice the difference

Sorry, just had a chance to take a look this morning. The difference is in DA. In SA the hammers appear to cock back the same distance.

front of me i have cutaway  of tan. frame with marked distance for sa stroke  and da  (standard parts not modified)

da stroke shorter  around 1.5 mm than sa.  my old cz 75 works  same.

    trigger works perfect.

  3. very good and accurate work.

do you feel difference in metal hardness  between slide and frame thru machining process?

tanfoglio  has harder metal .do you have problem machining and threading  it?

  4. yes . very good pic.

it  needs  better polishing  .! from this pic. you can see that entrance to chamber is rounded but it has  rough surface !

    its the most important place.

sorry i don't know how send pic. like yours that u can see barrel  that  was fixed on tan. with the same problem and finished world shoot in france

few weeks ago without   any   problem  .since it was fixed it shoots more than 4000 rounds clearly .

  5. from this side the angle looks  o.k . but it looks  on  last pic.  that it need better polish - like mirror.

the most important place : meeting between feed ramp and the chamber  must be perfectly rounded  (not too deep- brass need support) and polished.

pic. from side and 45 deg. can be better  choice.

extractor looks o.k.  i don't   see any  broken  edges.

    From David:

exactly. cgw  instruction is o.k. they know what they do.

if you file  upper side of disco the da stroke will be inconsistent. disco run between frame and sear cage with very small space from this reason.

da  has always  shorter stroke than sa.

Guy said his was stock. Cleaned it out of the box and shot it.

yes .its working right out of the box. its very reliable handgun .

sometimes they have problems with  original tso magazines in cal. 9mm.

    nobody  is perfect.:)

  8. yes  .most of them have good  trigger out of the box 700-1200 grams . ( compare to other guns )

but its not perfect and needs  good  gunsmithig  job.  you can get easy smooth and sharp  trigger under 600 g and travel of 2 - 2.5 mm at the lowest point of the trigger.

if you want  by tso check them carefully  , and pray its  not assembled in mondays .:D

  9. cz 75 is very good design  and trigger system is  more simple than in tanfoglio  and in  my opinion its better.

new models like shadow  and sh2  looks good and you can make good trigger job more easy than on tan.

but  tanfoglio  use for their pistols the best type of steel for all their parts .compare to new cz guns that  i don't  know exactly what type of steel they  use  but not good like on tan.

from cz new guns i prefer  regular cz 75 ,shadow sp-01 ,tactical sport and tso.

i will not purchase  shadow- 2, because in ours shooting club  from 5 guns  sh-2   4 of them have frame failure issues  like this.
