You realize these replies are from almost two years ago? There are a plethora of aftermarket parts that have become available since then...

I have just purchased a Stock 2 Extreme. I need the SA trigger weight to be over 3.5 lbs and the DA trigger pull light as reasonably to avoid strike failure. I guess from the above that sear increasing sear spring weight is the answer?

Can anybody suggest where I can get a heavier sear spring?

    but this from today.;)

My experience has been that the Tanfoglio springs are uniformly heavier (thicker wire & more coils) than CZ springs.

What you want is to get more positive sear engagement on the hammer hooks. I don't know if this is beyond your skill set it not but increasing the forward angle of the face of the sear will give you a harder SA trigger pull and not effect your DA pull.

So if you are looking at the sear in the gun you would reshape the face on the blade of the sear so it angles very slightly back from the bottom to the top.

just try find regular sear. it has  more negative angle.;)

Nealio, that would be good to know how to do. Is this possible to do with a hand file?

    nooooooooooooooooooooo!

  3. find 1mm fiber optic rod for s2 front sight and install it properly.

i would not replace factory sights because they are stronger than any adjustable sights that i know.( for 9mm)

Update:  I sent the sight back to Leupold a few weeks ago.  I got it back last night and shot it on the same gun today.  No issues with zeroing.  The return form said they replaced the glass and checked internals.  Glad I wasn't crazy and that Leupold made it right.

even leupold has problems with mondays  ;)

    nobody  is perfect.

Both the Guga Ribas and Suomi ASE holsters create wear on the sides and underside of the trigger guard, and on the underside of the frame. They do this on my TS, TSO and Czechmate, all of which I dry fire a lot. It doesn't bother me as the guns are competition tools.

     thank . didn't new this.

it's not pleasant  that holsters make damage to gun finish.

one of my friends use same holster 25 years without any scratch  on the gun.

when i designed my h . first thing that i want that finish will not damaged.

    Yigal,

    Which holster would you recommend?

spoke today with friend that  tried   ALL   types of holsters (he receive them for free)

he said that g. rivas  considered now as the  best brand. he will try it next month.

    Exactly right!

At least tanfos respond well to the work.

I just wish they would sharpen the cutting tools more frequently...

sharpen cutting tools its over 45 min.;)

i can send u pic. of my tso barrel chamber that have all marks that they "finish" it with broken mill.

this should be covered under warranty. It is a factory defect due to poor fitting.

At least, here in Canada, for much less I know people that have had the upper replaced.

    good service in canada.

for much less in russia 15 years ago people were executedB)

There. Fixed it for accuracy. ;)

There’s a reason we pour over our guns and meticulously tweak and polish them. Because factories just stamp them out like cars toasters and everything else.

    thank u.

    it's correct.

i can say it  in a positive  way:

if my first handgun that i bought had been working well properly i would not had understood  anything.;)

It calls into question your "All shooters" comment because after a thousand draws I don't have finish wear. It's true the TSO isn't as easy to fit as other platforms but the DAA Racemaster and Alpha-X both work fine.

yes  u are wright  i mean in ours local shooting club we have 10 tso. all have finish wear  on trigger guard

its about the model with aluminium frame  with plastic insert that close to al. frame

in simple model that i saw without al. frame didn't heard complains  only about  that gun to much free .

and tso and most cz have not easy platform as u say but there is solution for them too. and it more simple than u think. tso much simple platform than shadow.

that is the reason that cz changed trigger guard in sh2 ?

Once I added a muzzle support my DAA Alpha-X works pretty great. No wear, rattling, or stuck gun.

if i bay shoes i don't  expect  add stabilizers  on them for walking

that is the reason that i don't like be depended on anyone .

    Yigal,

    Which holster would you recommend?

sorry  i can't recommend  any type of holster because  i never try others. everything that i use i do it myself .and i don't copy from others. i use my design open h.  from 1992. only trigger guard covered and delrin pin support barrel.

that was approved   by Nick Aleksakos  and ipsc committee  in 1992  for use in  ipsc  competition.

and  i fishing  and shoot compound bow  .

I use a double alpha race master. They have a tso specific insert. Noticing some wear on bottom of trigger guard.

all shooters that use daa holsters damaged  tso and shadow  trigger guard finish. and gun has big ply inside holster.

not mention about that  every competition few locked   guns falls  from it. and few stacked inside the holster.

    bad copy.

never try no sr speed no daa and not ghost

herd  good  things about g .rivas  but never saw it.
