I almost had it last week, May 6th, 2002... Limited, STI .40 long dustcover full magazines 18 rounds. Brand new STI grip with no modifications or undercutting. Yes, If you can get your match application letter post marked for today you will save $25... I just dropped mine off at the post office after calling the match director to check for slots. He said they had a lot of free slots right now but that can change really fast sometimes... Cheers, Eric

I have both of my applications in for the Race Gun and Factory Gun Nationals... I am looking forwards to these and have started training hard... The Area 4 and NC State are just warm ups to the Nationals... How did you fill out your squad list for the Nationals?

I think this will be that last major match I RO for a while. I shot really bad on Friday. Anyone have any comments about stage 2...? Considering how many shooters we had I think that match ran very smoothly and nothing held the squads up to much... maybe stages 5 & 6 a little... I also herd a rumor that they are trying to get one of the Nationals Matches to come to the Jacksonville range. What does everyone think about that? After shooting so bad at the Area 6 match, all 9 stages shot on Friday and ROing Sat & Sun, I think I’ll need a lot more practice before the Factory and Race Gun Nationals. I think 30,000 rounds may do it... If I am lucky. EricS

I love this stage!! The first time I shot it was during a classifier match back in July when I was a B class shooter. I had just watched a Open gun shoot it in 2.92 and I thought that was fast. My turn came and I was relaxed, I shot it in 2.77 with my limited gun with all 30 points and I just went ape-nuts after beating the Open guns time. 1 Sites, Eric B 30 0 2.77 10.8303 30.0000 100.000 88.773 % This was a good day for me because I had just shot the Mini-Mart classifier two stages back in 5.86 with all 60 points. 1 Sites, Eric B 60 0 5.86 10.2389 60.0000 100.000 87.045 % The last time I shot Band & Clang was in January at another club and shot it in 2.69 with 30 points hf 11.1524. I have a bomar that the pivot pin keeps breaking. I called them to ask for a new one and they wonted me to send them my gun so they could install it. With the new way UPS handles guns that would have cost more than I new sight. So I asked them to send me the parts and I would install them. They told me that 9 out of 10 guns smiths they send this to could not get the pin installed. There is a spring that is very hard to get the pin past to get it installed. I told them to send it to me because I will get it installed. I had to paying about $12 for a new pin and spring plus shipping. Well I got the pin installed about two months ago and now it has broking again... I am thinking about buying a new sight but what else will fit in my bomar cut slide?

You guys are killing me... I bought a Dillion Square Deal B as my first reloader and at 300 to 350 rounds an hour I was spending all my free time reloading and not shooting. I have since picked up a used 15-year-old Dillion RL 1050. I told a friend I could reload 1200 rounds an hour with this thing and he did not believe me. So a challenge was thrown down and I had to prove my word. So I video taped my self loading 1200 primers into primer tubes which took about 15 minuets, then I loaded all 1200 rounds over the next hour... It is really cool watching that tape in fastward mode. Now days I get all the reloading I need done for a weeks worth of shooting finished in about an hour. About two months ago I broke a part off the bottom of the main shaft, I called Dillion and told them that I bought this thing used and it was about 15 years old. They said the part was a manufacture problem and they sent me a new shaft and I did not even have to pay for shipping. That is cool...

I really really really want to go to this match but I have sent Michael Voigt email twice asking for a slot. He replied and said send him my contact info that there should be plenty of slots to go around. I did and have been waiting… My second email trying to follow up on the status has gone unanswered. I do not know what to do next...

I got a Race gun slot and a Factory Gun slot from two different clubs I shoot at. I am planning on going to each of them. These will be my first nationals and I am looking forward to it. Last year I got a Limited slot but could not make it because of work. I am always looking for ways to keep down the cost of going to matches so if any one wants to split a hotel or something please let me know.

Paul, You posted your points as 82 but the scores on the USPSA website say you got 87 points. I just wonted you to know that you may have calculated your points wrong from the match. You did better than you thought you did...
