  1. Hop, I will try to get the informations for sure and let you know. By the way, last year (and last Nationals too) we had some foreigners shooting here. It is not difficult to "get the papers" from the government (in fact, from the Army). Dont worry! Bye,
  2. Hi Flexmoney, The guys who did this work are great. Every brazilian match (or the most important ones around the world) is there. See you,
  3. Hi guys, About the revolver teams, I am sure Brazil will have one. It will be a little bit different from the last WS team (maybe some names will change) but we will be shooting. Ricardo Lopez said me the guys from Ecuador (he and the others) will come. So, until now we have 3 teams (US, Ecuador and Brazil). Maybe somebody from Europe would be interested. What do you think Igor (Revorbaro)? Bye,
  4. Hop and Cliff, See you at the Panamerican! Bye,
  5. Hi, If you want to see the WS XIV results in a different way, take a look on this page You can change the shooter's division (clicking on "Simular uma mudança de categoria") or see the shooter's performance in each stage without checking stage by stage (clicking on the stage's name). It can be useful. Bye,
  6. Hi Luis, Good to see you here!! Good job! I am sure you will shoot very well at Panamerican. See you,
  7. Hi RogerT, In this match the lay-out on the paper was very close to the "real" stage. The guys from that club (where the National was done) are great. The "long shots" were difficult but I liked the match anyway. About the web site, it is a forum in portuguese about IPSC. Every match has its results posted on it and, if you want, you even can change your division (to make some comparison, for example). They will like to know your opinion about it. Thank you!
  8. Hi Cliff, Thank you for writing! I will sent your message to Moacir and Fernando. I have some news for you and I will send you a email. Bye,
  9. Hi Igor, I didnt shoot well at my Nationals. I got the 3rd place (Moacir Azevedo won the match and Fernando Becker was the 2nd place). I had some problems in a stage with a lot of poppers. Take a look on my topic on this site about the match (the topic was named "Brazil's National") I have the same feeling about my performance this year: I would like to shoot better in the World Shoot and I wanted to win the National (I won in 2003 and 2004 - I wanted to repeat it!). By the way, I think this kind of thing happen and we shouldnt worry about it: today we lose, tomorrow we win. We already have the date of the Panamerican Championship: September (2nd to 10th) next year. I will try to put some news about it on this site (in the topic "Panamerican Championship 2006"). It would be a pleasure to meet you again here, ok? Please invite all the italians guys (in special the revolver team) on behalf on me. Congratulations again! See you,
  10. This is the trophy: a little shooter with the Division's gun on his hand. Very original!!
  11. It was a very funny stage. The alligator is the symbol of the club wich was working on the stage (almost each stage was responsability of one club/team). By the way, I won this stage!!
  12. Stage 15 I big stage. In the first photo you can see the first part of it (from start line to middle). In the second one you can see the second part of it (from the midle to the final window). I did a good performance here.
  13. Stage 11 It was my worst stage (I think I lost the match here ). We had some targets about 40 meters from the start line. There were 14 poppers too.
  14. A photo from the stage 3. You could jump the water or just use the stairs (and dont jump).
  15. So, Last weekend we shot at our National's 2005. As I said (and you can check in the stages posted here) it was a great match. The staff did a great work and everything (almost everything of course) worked well. The stages (22) were very interesting and I can say (and others shooters agree with me) it was the best National we have ever had. There were 285 shooters among the IPSC Divisions. In the Revolver there were 22 shooters. The last World Shoot's brazilian team was there (except one - Wagner Almeida - who suffered a surgery on his hand. Maybe he cant shoot revolver anymore). My great friend Moacir Azevedo (7th place at WS XIV) won the match. Fernando Becker (10th place) was the 2nd and I was the 3rd (I had some problems with the poppers ). Last World Shoot I was the 8th and I should be better in this match. I am not happy with my performance but I think it happens, right? Another results can be checked on National's Result I will try to get good photos to post here. As I posted in another topic, we will have the Panamerican Champioship in Brazil next year. It wont be in the same range but I assure you it will be great. I want to invite you (again) to shoot here next year. That's all for now. Bye,
  16. Hi everybody, I have some news about the Panamerican Championship 2006. The match will be in Brasilia (the Brazil's capital) from September 2nd to September 10th next year. I know the range where this match will happen and it is a great place to shoot. This is the same place where the World Shoot 1996 took place. On behalf of the brazilian shooters, I would like to invite everybody to shoot here. It will be a great match and I want everybody enjoyng this opportunity. By the way, take some time to know others cities in Brazil (Rio de Janeiro, Sao Paulo, Belo Horizonte ...) As soon as possible, I will write here brand news about this match. I will try to get some photos of the range. See you,
  17. Hi Igor, Good job friend! I know the italian team and I am sure you are a great shooter. Dont worry about your performance: mistakes are always happening! This match was you, next one it will happen to another shooter. By the way, congratulations to everybody in the italian team of revolver! You are great! Bye,
  18. Hi, This kind of error (in the score or time) happened in the World Shoot XIV too. I didnt think it was possible (in a WS) but I saw 3 or 4 situations where a "Miss" was scored as "Alpha". I saw a stage time wich was about 27 seconds scored as 21 seconds. Another shooter from Brazil saw a "DQ" to be canceled (and the shooter finished the match). I dont know if you agree but it shouldnt happen! A brazilian shooter, after saw that his time in a stage was wrong, talked to the Staff/WS. So, They said to him to make a document and to pay USD 100,00 in order to have the result corrected. This sport has very strange histories.
  19. hopalong, It would be a plesure to meet you at the National. Next year there will be the Panamerican Championship in Brazil (we dont know the date yet). Why dont you safe some money to be here? Our friends from USA are always welcome here. Keith, You are also invited to shoot at Panamerican Championship next year. About hopalong's performanceI know a lot of shooters that say it ("I am not a good shooter") and, in a opposite way, they are great winners. São Paulo is the biggest city in Latin America. For sure, we have a lot of fun there. You must know this place (and other cities in Brazil) some day. Thank you! We are waiting for you!
  20. Hello RogerT, You are right: sometimes the "real" stage is very different of the "paper" stage. Anyway, it will be a great fun. For everybody, I will try to post the stages to you. If I can, you dont need to go to the site. Stage1_7.doc
  21. Cliff, The Brazilian Team also liked a lot to shoot with you and Lisa. We also had a great week and we learned a lot. Unfortunatelly we didnt have a lot of time (and oportunities) to talk with Jerry (of course we are great fans of him) and Patrick. All the wheelgunners from USA are invited to visit us. Have you received my last messages (with some photos and a map)? I have started another topic about the Nationals. If you can, take a look. I will ask Raul your CD and I will send it to you as soon as possible, ok?
  22. Hi friends, Next month we will have the Brazil's National Championship. It will be in Atibaia (a city near Sao Paulo) and we will shoot about 550 rounds. I think it will be the biggest match in Brazil since World Shoot in 1996 (it was in Brasilia - our national capital city). I would like if you take a look in the stages and give me your opinion about them. I tried to put a file with the stages here but I wasnt able to do it. So, follow these instructions: go to www.fptp.org.br and look for this link "Clique aqui para baixar as pistas do campeonato (formato .doc zipado)". When you click here, you will download the file with the stages (in the doc format). I am waiting your opinions.
  23. I am writing here for the first time. Cliff invited me to join this Forum after the WS XIV. I think my english needs to improve a little bit. After these explanations... Mike, Congratulations for your honesty! Today it is very difficult to find people like you. We try to keep this idea amog the Brazilian wheelgunners: the friendship is more important than the match. Everubody who has different ideas (like who dont care about to help others wheelgunners if necessary, for example) is not welcome in our squad. They almost always stop to shoot Revolver (Thank God!) Cliff, Good job friend! You shoot very well and you deserve this win. Next month we will have the National Championship in Brazil and I hope to get the first place (like you man). Congratulations once more!
