Went into a local gun shop and in the used section there was a 75B with a CZ branded red dot on it. The mount was merely a dovetail mount and the base of the sight fit the contour of the slide perfectly. Is this sight a discontinued item from CZ rhat I'm not aware of? The price for the package and 3 mags was 550 with a pretry low round count. Is it worth the cash and how hard would it be to sell that red dot? TIA, Jakob W.

Not a direct replacement to the trek-lock, just a mounting hardware collectively that is constructed out of metal

Are there any products on the market that are just the mounting hardware that I could replace a tek-lock with that are a metal construction?

I came across a deal on a BOSS that I couldn't pass. I now have the question, for single stack, is there a metal holster mount that offers the 2" offset with no drop? I'm really not a fan of plastic mounting hardware.

Have only heard great things about the BOSS other than how it runs down the lug. Just saw the Springer precision hanger and it looks to be exceptionally nice as well. Has anyone had any experience between the two? Merry Christmas and God bless

It had a green DP fiber optic front that was very thin, i did quite like it. It did show some moderate to heavy holster-ware, but other than that, the lock up was very nice and extremely smooth, the slide fit was not unbelievably good but more then acceptable, the machining on the front strap was very nicely done, and the trigger was very crisp at 3.5#. If anything I think this gun could hold me over long enough for me to decide if I'd want to solely commit to single stack and move to the top of the quality ladder. At that point it would make a wonderful back up for not a lot of coin

I know it's not the Trojan, but went to a local shop today and stumbled upon a STI Spartan used by the owner (who I know very well) for $625 with one Tripp mag and the front strap checkeeing. Would this be reasonable option as well? Seems like a very good deal to me. Thanks gents

Im going in to a shop with a very large selection of 1911's tomorrow. Gonna try and get my hands on as many as I can and see if I fall in love with any one of them. At this point in leaning towards the RO, but I guess we will see.

I was expecting quite a few Trojan recommendations. Looks like I need to get to hunting. I do have the opportunity to get the RO for 850 out the door. Which saves 150-200 bucks for upgrades and ammo.

Howdy gents, Been shooting single stack with a Loaner Kimber for a few months now and am very interested in purchasing my own 1911. I recently went in to a local gun store and got my hands on a Sig STX and was instantly in love with it. How would this model fair for single stack? Is this a model that could impede me in the future. Min my research I stumbled upon an article by Robby Letham saying the Springfield RO Operator is a fantastic option and also little less expensive. (Yes, I know, Robby is paid to say that) Looking for opinions or other recommendations preferably around the 1k mark. As much as I'd love a Sig Max it's out of the question currently.

The rig I was borrowing from my father was DAA belt and the DAA metal pouches which were really nice, but I really don't know if they were worth extra coin. I will look into the shooter connection belt. Does anyone other than ghost offer the bullets out option?

I have shot multiple local matches using my fathers Limited belt rig adjusted to production legal. I've decided this hobby is one that is easily accessible to me and worth the purchase of my own rig (and pops wants all his stuff back).Id like to put together an entire belt rig but am looking for recommendations on some parts and would like to make sure im not forgetting anything. I am currently shooting a stock 2 and have a comp-tac holster with the original drop offset mount already Equipment I've consider- -Belt- not sure what brand on this one. Have heard greet things about CR speed and DAA, any others? -Pouches-ghost, cr speed, DAA Suggestions in the three? -BOSS Holster Hangar -Shot time- Really need help here!!! -Baseplates for stock 2 magazines. I'd had intentions of getting the chamber reamed. From what I've read that seems to be a must do fix.
