Has anyone tried or have installed these on the Witness Match with the round trigger guard? I'm curious as to where you start removing material to get these in the ball park. I'm a little hesitant to start trying to fit these myself. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I need some help fellas. I just purchased a set of aluminum grip panels for my Witness Match in 45acp from EAA. Do these have to be fitted to pistol, and will there be a gap in between the grip and upper part of the frame near the backstrap? I have a new set of Scale grips that look like they going to fit the same way. Anyone have any pics of these grips installed on their pistols for reference? They did call me back and told me to use a #37, or a .104 drill bit to open up the trigger just a tad. It worked perfectly! I'm impressed with their customer service too. That goes a long way in the shooting sports world. At least it does with me. So that's the solution to the problem in case someone else runs into the same thing.
