I wish that was an option man, I really do. I'm in California where a $900 pistol costs $2000-$2500, used.
If I can get a new barrel under $300 to extend the life of this pistol I'm gonna do it. Its my fault for assuming it would be that simple i guess.
Like Johnbu said, buy a new top end

Titan hammer is *highly* unnecessary for a quality defensive firearm. I don’t even think you need one to win Production at a major match with a Gamer gun.
Do exactly as Johnbu suggested; swap springs and polish the snot out of it. Your goal in a defensive firearm is a smooth double action, NOT a light one. Hammer fired guns hit that critical first shot much more weakly than the subsequent SA ones, so keep it a bit heavy and run more hammer spring.
Hell my competition gun was around 7 in DA when I quit chasing light triggers and just set it up to run reliably when filthy. (It started at a gritty 12.XX which is likely where your gun is now.)
That’s all assuming it’s a metal framed gun with a round trigger guard. Too old for google images to come with much.
And yes, go search up my Tanfoglio Tuning videos on YouTube.
Thanks for the info, your video explained very well. I definitely agree with you that DA on defensive pistol should be heaveier

Thanks guys, great info

nope, is it coated bullet?

a bull barrel can last well over 60k, it may be better off just buy a new pistol then
-
I wonder what is the benefit of using unica hammer on Gold team? I thought it is for DA pistol
-
you want install a titan hammer, and swap out some springs, DA should be much better, but it will cost close to $200, or just by a CZ 75 compact, also a steel frame pistol, but the grip is smaller

Hey guys, what is the weight difference between those two? Thanks
-
most of polymer framed tanfo are small frame, steel are most likely be large frame
-
just use 11.5#, shoots CCI all day long, there's not much advantage when using 8.5#
-
by adding a optical sight, you can shoot it in CO division too
-
And patriot defense, I heard they just start offering that as well
-
I think CZC can do that for you

Will you also help me out about the compensator off the barrel? There is a screw at the bottom, see this picture. It has a tiny head, and the hole is very small. I don't have any kind of long and skinny screw driver to reach it. On the other hand the precision screw driver doesn't provide enough to unscrew it. Any idea?
unfortunately I have no experience with compensator on tanfos, just like GrumpyOne said, that you really should ask kneellingatlas, he is the expert

How do I take out the slide racker? I am thinking about hammering it out. From right to left side? There is a hole in the middle of the slide racker, could it sit on a small cylinder sticking out from the slide? I am guessing at this point.
looks like there is a screw holding that slide racker in place, you will need to unscrew that first

I notice the mag release on this gun looks very unique, can you post a closer pic on that part? I am very curious
