I ran across a 97B in my day yesterday. I have been trying to keep my eyes out for other CZ pistols because I am looking for one I just do not know which one. There isn't a gunstore around that has more than 2 CZ 75/97/P01 etc style pistols and all of them I have came across so far are the lower end ones. I almost bought it after just picking it up and playing with it for a second. There are reports here that it has a large grip. The grip did not seem near as large as the Grip on the Tactical Sport even with aluminum Grips on the TS. I figured I would do some internet research before jumping in though.

Just got my case feeder today. It makes me really sad I didn't get it sooner. I will tell you the MrBulletfeeder mini is a waste of time. It is faster just to put em on one at a time. I plan on upgrading to the real Mrbulletfeeder soon that should get rid of the issue I have with the Mini (you still have to handle each piece of lead).

I figure 240 rounds for an 8 stage Idpa match (I like to shoot)and sometimes I go throu all 3 mags. That doesn't count the last 3 times I have taken them to the range to work on skills we went through 1k/rounds each trip. So at all times if we're shooting anything I have an ammo can with 1k rounds in it.

Video by far. I am new to the competitive side of it and when I started having my daughter shoot vid of me I started noticing things that I didn't notice while shooting. Really helped cut time out of my days. Looking over the sights after each shot, some kind of odd hip swing on the draw, and a couple of other dumb things.

I started with a 550 and quickly realized I should have bout the 650. Now I am 2000 rounds into my 650 and I think I should have went ahead and got the 1050. The 550 was almost fine when just loading for myself. My FIL has started shooting with me and my wife so the 650 isn't hardly enough to keep up with 3 people even using the case feeder and Mr. Bulletfeeder. I have played with the Ammo plant and didn't like a couple of things about it.

I go to a lot of gunstores and its hard to find more than one CZ around here to look at and compare. Not many carry them. The shadows intrigue me but I really want to molest one before buying.

I shot in the "I am just here to shoot my gun" division.

Ordered one from the CZ custom shop as they came in stock right after I ordered thin grips. I shot this today in a local IDPA match and honestly while in practice the thumb safety seems to be an issue it actually wasn't. When the new safety gets here I plan on cutting it down width wise.

I found it on the site but its out of stock. I took the wood grips off and that helps a little but need to find replacement thin grips. Moving the safety selector shelf back will help me a ton. Ordered a BSPS holster for it earlier to possibly give this thing a run this coming weekend.

I picked up a TS on a whim while out messing around and I really like it. I do not like the safety as I have to move my hand to take it down. Does anyone make a replacement safety that has the shelf further back for the people like myself that do not have long monkey thumbs?

I have been shooting IDPA with the Cross Timbers guys here in TX and just moving along. I cannot seem to make the other USPSA matches due to schedule but would like to look into it. Kinda slow, but getting there and shooting with a pretty good bunch of people. I have run about 8000 rounds this year through misc 9mm's trying to find the right gun. Started with Factory, then to a 550, and just ordered a 650. I have a deep lust for a STI Hard Chrome edge in 40 but it isn't the right gun for IDPA ..

I am fairly new to IDPA and I have noticed that I do generally do better when I shoot with the better end of the group. I think its more about watching them and taking notes on how they approach stages along with the advice given.
