My gen2 pistol will now run 147g Xtreme on 3.4gr of Tite Group. It needed break in with about 700 rounds of factory ammo and then a really good cleaning. My gen2 carbine won't run 100% yet with that load but it's getting better. Main issue of FTE. I'm trying 124g next at 4.1gr of TG.

For now I give the nod to the 147gr. I have tried 115, 125, 147, and 165 in my G34 and JP. I settled on 147gr RN Xtreme and 3.1g of TG for my G34 and JP GMR-13. They both run the same load quite well. 165g Xtreme feels really slow (cycling) in my G34. My MPX won't run the 3.1g very well so I bumped it up to 3.4g and it's very soft and reliable. For me 165gr in the JP felt odd and I have not tried any in the MPX. 124gr in the JP felt too harsh for some reason. I think people like it alot in the MPX and and I will try some more for that gun soon at some point. Did I confuse you enough? I need a coffee.

I liked the 124g. For now I am running 147g RN Xtreme with 3.4g Titegroup at 1.15 OAL. Very soft shooting

Did the check Quarter Circle 10 for a .40 bolt?

Absolutely. With the low cost options it doesn't make much sense not to have a back up. My first match I drove nearly three hours to play. I had multiple issues which prevented me to have even one clean run. It was a benefit match and I was still having fun so I stuck it out. The thought of a second gun was on my mind all day! I won't shoot another match like that without one in the car.

I too would like to bear Brian's comments on the above question

I like the 10" lancer guard. Nice looking piece!

Great thread. I started with a new pistol last week and will be getting the SBR paper work done to it next week and then the long wait. I like the pistol enough that I will be getting the carbine and will leave it in that form for out of state matches if that need arises. The SBR will most likely be the go to gun for PCC at this point. I too grip farther down the guard but the pistol will be doable with a longer LOP stock.

They come with their own spring. They are great and work flawlessly!

^^^^ This is what most guys are doing...You may want to buy a new JP release to do it to.
It's Odinworks XMR Gen2 release

Yes, what Chuck said.

The benefit to the Glock and Colt mag variants is the low cost of the mags and that alot of people may have them already. It might be appealing to someone who has a 2011 or the like but even then you are limited on capacity with an STI mag. Everyone is using the Taylor Freelance 41+1 to stay away from a reload. Anyways, that's my thoughts. I have an Sti with (8) mags but wouldn't have a desire for STI based lower. MBX might be working on something I heard. They would need to make a mag that would hold 40 or more rounds though.

20 yards seems fine for any USPSA pistol course.

I'm struggling a bit with my GMR-13. My pistol load with Extreme 147g and 3.1g TG has too much bounce and dot movement. Last night I tried 3.4 and 3.5 and it got worse. For some reason the Stand One Chubby reduced power factor 147g ammo I have has ZERO movement other than a slight push back into the shoulder. It gets the comp going very well too. I am thinking TG is too fast burning of a powder? I'm not looking to change the gun at all or go to a different bullet but may need to go to a different powder. I really want it to get it close to the Stand One feel and still load my own bullets. Any thoughts????

No. It must be able to be shouldered if I am correct.

I have the 24C but have not installed it yet. I'm very interested to hear what the flat JP Armageddon trigger is like

I don't see why it wouldn't work based on their site specs

Hiperfire 24C for me
I got to handle the rifle and play with the trigger on Saturday. Very nice. I think it's a New Frontier lower

I had the same problem all day yesterday. Thankfully, a guy had another timer and it picked it up.

Does Sig open up the port free of charge? If so I will send both of my barrels in. Maybe after that I'll trust them 100%.
