Was it worth it to redo? Or just get a new grip and refit?

Hey all, I’ve got a 2011 that I’ve put silicone carbide on the grip. After using it for a quite a few years I would like to redo it Any ideas on how to remove the current silicone carbide and jb weld? Grind it down with a Dremel? Thanks J

Looking for a hard case that can carry 2 2011s for use in limited, both have *thumb rest [generic]* and mag well. Don’t think I need magazines in the case just guns, unless you convince me otherwise. Thanks J

From my research it looks as if that is the closest to where I'll be, 1hr 45min. What's the round count typically, stage count, cost, length, etc?

What kind of structure build of 2x4? How's it holding up?

I originally thought about plywood. But, how did you guys take care of the rough edges of the plywood? I was thinking 2x4s or 2x6s and making a table top then screwing MDF to it to make a smooth work surface.

Hey guys, I've been using a heavy wood desk as a temporary reloading bench while we get settled into our new house. However, I'm at a point now where I'm planning and executing building a proper reloading bench. I have all the plans laid out for what I want EXCEPT the work table top. What is everyone using for their table top? Thanks

Stupid question.... If I mill a G34 slide for a RMR to play in carry optics. Is it still legal in production with out the optic? Thanks

Exactly why I posted. Going to have a backup built. Debating whether its worth it or not.

Anyone put a removable slide racker with a ball detent on a limited gun? Best of both worlds, you can put it on when needed and take it off when not.

I'm actually running an extended mag release without a button. Its the best option for me. I haven't had any issues with mags dropping whatsoever. Might be something to look into.

USPSA legality? Switch from 34 in production To 17 mos in carry optics

Stupid question.... Is the gen4 17 and gen4 34 frame the same? I.e. am I able to get a 17 slide for my 34?

This is going to sound stupid, but I've been shooting USPSA for just under 2 years. I've been placing at the top of locals and top 1/3 of majors. But, when it comes time to practice I just do whatever I feel like with no organization or structure... How do I know what I need to practice or what to work on? Thanks, J

Yea I can't find the post, but I don't want to wait that long. However, i agree, with their release there most likely will be a mass exodus of shadows and tanfos.

Regardless of the gun I decide on I and pretty sure I'm going to be getting the scales grip. It seems to be the best option for the closest to 2011 grip that I can find, although not exact. The thing that I'm worried about deciding is the gun. I'm going to shoot the CZ next weekend at a local, well see how it goes. I've done my research I know the cz is better at a, b, and c while the Tanfo at x, y, and z. How hard is it to do the work on the Tango? What work needs to be done? I just wish i coukd try them on for size before purchasing. Which one would have the most trigger reach to my 2011? Would it be worthwhile to wait for the shadow 2? What's the advantage over the Tanfo?

I was wanting to stick to a metal gun, similar I'm weight to my 2011. Ideally I would find something similar in weight, controls and, most importantly, grip angle... It sounds as if I both are similar, which one would be best is up to me. Hold them both and decide.
