Anyone use Accurate #7 for 9 major? I would like to try this powder and don't have a recipe to start with. Thanks.

Thank you. Yes I do inspect each bullet to check the primer and I make sure the brass are good before I throw them into the case feeder. Well I guess I do the same thing, not to worry gauging the reloads for the local match.Am running a KKM in 9 major also. I don't gauge practice ammo and never had a issue other than a cracked case but it still cycled . I gauge match ammo to inspect like the above post for primer, cracks or if it wont fit properly. Funny , everything that wont gauge ( 5% ) goes in the practice box and works fine .

I use ANY brass, and have fired 20,000+ rounds - don't use a FCD, either.
NEVER had a problem, until 2-3 times, I DID have a Problem.
Now, I don't check ammo for local matches, but I check EVERY round
for major matches - I just throw them into my barrel (Plunk Test).
Also check for high primers and cracked brass.
What brand of barrel you are using?

This is a question after I changed caliber from 40 to 9 open major. During the time that I was shooting 40 open, I always make sure that all reloads passed the gauge before using them. I am shooting 9 major at this time but never use a gauge for my reloads to check if they are ok. I shot around a thousand rounds but this gun just keep on going, no issue of a bulge brass or jam in the chamber. I have a KKM barrel on this gun and I use a Lee FCD on my Dillon 650. I want to know if this is a norm to most of 9 major barrel. I am using a once fired brass. Thanks.

I used to have these issues with my 9 open, and they were all gone after replacing the cmore slideride to RTS.sent mine back to STI and it has been over 2 months haven't heard anything. They won't return calls or emails. It is ridiculous how bad of service they have!

I just got hold the replacement tray
I'm curious to see what part number your new battery tray has...
I bought four extra RTS2 battery covers from C-More last February... The part number is RTS-SP-001-B...

Ok guys, I spoke to Cmore this morning. I removed the battery tray per customer service instruction and after a thorough inspection I found the battery tray cracked. Well easy fix, Cmore is sending a new tray today. Thank y'all.

Thanks guys - I will try to call Cmore tomorrow.

I noticed recently the reason why their were times I loosed the dot of my cmore RTS during the match. Their were occasions that the battery cover moved so I put a tape to hold the movement. Need help from someone who have the same issue, what is your fix?

I had the same issue and after recommendation from this forum, I bought and tried Lime a Way and applied a small amount to a Qtip. RTS is now crystal clear and looked brand new. I highly recommend this to everyone who have problem of dirty foggy lens.

Thanks to this forum. No more issues with my open 9 after I changed the Cmore slideride and mount to RTS2 on a Cheely mount.

I have the same issue with my new built open 9mm. Now I am thinking of changing the mount with either a vertical, offset mount or replaced it with a cmore RTS since I already have one. I want to know if which is the best way. Thanks.

PSA broken extractor here with about 300 rounds. I was also wondering if anyone has used the New frontier extractor on a PSA
Sent from my iPhone using TapatalkSame here 300 rounds and it broke. Did PSA replace the extractor or you bought one from a different company?

I am using an old Cmore STS. This has been sitting on the slide for about 4 years with no complain.

This is bad. I don't have any issue with my previous order from him. I heard the same issue from a friend that lives in west coast and I think I really need to dispute this before it's too late. Thank you and hope we can all get the money back we paid for nothing.

Long time lurker here...just registered to give my 2 cents about this. I really wanted to run Guga Ribas/Ernie Hill gear. I also placed an order with him directly, he billed me and shortly afterwards stopped responding (around early February); email, text, call or facebook. Long story short i was approaching my credit card dispute window and had to protect myself in case something happened. So I ended up disputing the charge due to vendor not responding back order status. I was able to get my money charged back thankfully.
Its a shame, because I really wanted to run the product, and honestly hope that everything is ok on his side. Its odd for someone to just stop responding. and reading this it seems I am not an isolated incident.
I hope you reach a resolution whether it be through Ernie or your bank.
Can you advise the process to dispute my payment through PP to Ernie Hill because we are in the same boat. I ordered the holster last December and never heard a word from him after paying.

I will be happy when I hear good news from PayPal, but looks like it will require a bit of time for them to complete their investigation. They are giving him 2 weeks to reply to their message before proceeding to the next step. Not sure how long before I get a refund. I also hope Ernie is ok, but I have to say, when we saw him active on Facebook, posting and liking other posts, but not replying to our email, text, voicemail and Facebook messages, it makes me wonder what is going on. Unfortunately it is still a mystery. He replied to our sponsor shooter friend to thank him for the happy birthday message but didn't respond to his inquiry about our order status. Very, very strange.
I have the same issue with my holster which I ordered in December.. My last reply from him was in the first week of January and did not hear a word from him afterwards. I tried email and FB messenger to ask question about the status of my order and never hear a word from him. I need action to get my money back from Paypal.

Just a tip - MSH stands for main spring housing which is just the physical housing that holds the spring etc. people call the spring the main spring (MS) or hammer spring.
Thanks

With a SS firing pin, I won't go lower than 17 lb for a mainspring. With a Ti firing pin, you will have to go higher. Going heavier for insurance does not change trigger pull that much.
For example, one pistol had a 16-17lb MS and worked perfectly until I put a 22 conversion on it. Then I had 20% FtF issues. I replaced the 16-17 with a 19 and the problem disappeared. Trigger pull before the switch was exactly 2.5 lbs.; after it was 2.62. A minor adjustment to the sear spring and it would be back to 2.5.
I am not sure yet if the gunsmith will put Ti of SS firing pin, but I will take note of this. Thanks a lot.

Hello: 17lb ISMI in both. 8-10lb ISMI recoil spring for 9mm depending on load and personal preference. Thanks, Eric
Thanks. I used 9 lbs on my 40 open but might try it first before going down to 8 lbs to my new 9mm upper.
