In case your not aware CGW sells just the set screw replacements but would have to pay shipping(I’m assuming this is why your asking about hardware stores)

I lost the pre travel screw of the CGW trigger that came with the reach reduction kit and i am wondering if they are available and can be found in store locally like Home Depot. I think the size is 3x3 mm.

Anybody uses a noise cancelling headphone for competition? I have a Bose Quitecomfort headphone and it seems working when shooting my Carry Optic gun. The headphone reduces the sound drastically and I am comfortable using it. I know that this will not work with my open gun.

What is the size of the lock (hex screw) used for Springer Precision extended magazine base pad for P10 and where I can buy them? Thank you.

I have had the same doubt before I bought my Shadow 2, I thought I was just good in single action triggers (2011) only. After installing the CGW springs and to make the story short, I can live with double action trigger now. DA is at 5# (smooth) and a little over 2# in single action. You will love it!

I have ran the Henning and the TTI basepads with a stock springs with no issues. I forget what the round count was. I believe it was a 21 round capacity with stock
Which magazine tube you were using?

I ran the stock springs until I got around to buying grams kits. Are you having an issue with them?
I have some extra base pad but without the grams spring kit that I just want to try if they will work fine.

Anyone have luck using the standard magazine spring and follower to a Henning extended base pad on their Shadow 2?

Been shooting my S2 Orange with 147g Zeros in Production, and decided to test a few different bullets for practice, etc. This was Blue Bullets 147FP out of my Shadow 2 Orange at 20 yds off a plastic bench rest. Had zero issues with feed/function, ejection. Once I have time for further testing, it may prove to be fine for competition.........
Thank you!

I’ve been using the 135 gr coated RN bullets for quite a while now. No issues with feeding, plenty accurate.
I was shooting open for a while and will focus to shoot CO this time. I prefer HP bullets for open but tend to use coated this time.

I prefer the 147s over the 124s the dot seems to track better for me. Between the 135s and 147s I couldn't tell a huge difference but I went with the 147s because I liked the feel of them and they use less powder.
Do you think I won't have any problem using the 147gr flat? I only tried the round 147.

What is your bullet weight preference for S2 in carry optics? I liked the feel of the 147gr better than the 124gr but I am thinking of trying the 135gr.

I recently just bought a S2 and tried my MPX PCC load to this gun yesterday. 147gr of plated Everglades bullets and 124gr of RMR MPR and both load works without an issue.

Curious if how many rounds is in the magazine.

I see some shooters insert the mag like butter, so I was wondering if there is something I am missing mechanically. I normally load the mags at 36 to 38 rounds but inserting it needs force to enable to lock. I have no issue inserting when it has a small amount of bullets. Yep, I dryfire a lot and practice my reload. It helps to mark the magazine with a turn of tape just below where the bottom edge of the mag well lines up on a seated magazine. Then practice grabbing the magazine just below the tape, so when you slam the magazine into place, your hand is as high on the magazine as possible and the mgazine as close to vertical as possible while not slamming your thumb knuckle into the edge of the mag well.
Ask me how I know how painful that is on the first stage of a match in cold weather!
Once it becomes automatic, you can take the tape off, or not.

I have a question for competition shooters and using the Sig MPX PCC. For unloaded start, what do you do to have a smooth insertion of the magazine? I have no problem inserting the mags if it has a small amount of bullets in it, but if there are 25 and over of bullets in the magazine, I am always struggling to insert the magazine. I tried to loosen the magazine release button but it did not help at all.

Once you have learned the tricks using Sketchup, designing a stage becomes more easier. I can lay out a stage design straight to Sketchup within 20 to 30 minutes. Designing a stage becomes more of a hobby to me. Make sure to always use the correct dimension of the bay that you will work on to get the correct distance and position of the props. Aside from being free, Sketchup is the most accurate, easy and has all the props you needed to create a stage design.

I ordered 11 and 12 # recoil spring to try with the steel guide rod. I really don't like the 15# spring that came with it. I tried the 147gr bullets but I might need to try different bullet weight to balance the play of this gun.

I need a good suggestion of your preferred recoil spring weight and bullet weight for CZ P10F.

I've been running Gen4 Glock17's as an entry/introduction to CO. They've been treating me well, but I still occasionally get treated to slide bite if I don't get my thumb kicked off to the side.
I've never handled the P10 but it appears to me anyway that the frame overhangs the grip by a substantial amount, so I"m hoping slide bite would not be a problem for me any longer.
And of course, beyond that, the P10F has much going for it.
Thanks!
Check the photo below. That is the highest grip I can hold the P10 but there is still a substantial space for your hands to avoid the slide bite.

I have been using them to my 2 open gun and no issue at all. Same thing to my PCC.

Anyone know if the Glock 17 holster will fit with CZ P10F.

Here is a picture of my Sig MPX PCC with a long Smoke composite handguard. I can certainly tell that my transitions will be more quicker with the smaller diameter handguard. I just got this yesterday. Easy to put on.Which one would fit the MPX Gen 3 PCC (16inch barrel) best? Please share your pictures. Thanks.

MBX Magazine Spring and Follower Shadow 2
in CZ
Posted
I just want to know if anyone have tried the new MBX magazine spring and follower for the original CZ magazine that comes with the shadow 2. According to MBX website you can load up to 24 rounds with the Henning extended base pad.
