Nope. Send a note to Techwear. He's trying to get Gibbz to send him a lower to design one. The more interest both parties see, the better chance of something happening.
-
I contacted Techwear about making one and they got ahold of Gibbz about borrowing a lower to pattern on after. Don’t know what Gibbz said...

I mounted my Railway on an ADM quick release mount. This gives enough room under the rear of it to mount a JP offset mount with an RTS2 on it. Works great.

I would recommend Gallant 125's sized to .356 min. I have two Accushadows that the barrels slugged .356, so I buy them sized to .357. Gallant has proven to be more consistent in weight and coating for me.

I'm pretty sure the ATI lower is a New Frontier, so anyone available for it should work.

They are using lead free catalyst primers in the action pistol that have the same cup and anvil as as their SPP. You shouldn't have any problems with a 11.5# spring. I run the 10# springs from CZC with no light strikes on Federal SPP's.

That is the reason for the cradle. When your strong hand is relaxed at side it helps to have the rifle supported and stable.

I have a small reference on my belt that supports it and still lets it touch the belt, so there has never been a question. -

I've never seen one of these Kydex cradles. What is the benefit?
I did come across a YouTube video of a left handed shooter in Florida that had his buttstock on the belt, his weak hand on the handguard and his strong hand flat against his leg (not touching the gun). I don't know if that's just the way he wants to start or there was something in the WSB limiting where the strong hand needed to be.
Checked to see if a WSB could require a PCC start with only one hand on the gun. Found nothing that indicated the MD cannot specify only one hand on the gun. In the same area of the rules I did not see anything permitting or prohibiting a Kydex cradle for the buttstock.
It's pretty much the required PCC start position at any Manny Bragg match down here. Not bad once you practice it a little.

No. Weak side starts are defined as weak shoulder and hand.

Here's an option. I've heard good things about Gibbz.
I looked at the KE and the Gibbz. Ended up with the Gibbz because I preferred their mag release design and they dont have a bolt catch.
Gibbz also has the left handed side charging upper now.

Nope. Rules specifically say no braces.

I ran my first test with it over the weekend...
gun: Shadow 1
bullet: Gallant Bullets coated 9mm 147
charge: 3.3gr
primer: WSP
oal: 1.100
string: 10 shots at 10 feet
avg mv: 895 (132pf)
es: 17
sd: 5
So far I'm sold on it. No more smoke than N320 and time will tell if it's as clean. I'll be testing some at 3.2gr today at lunch.

Yes, I close my dominant eye to stop confusion. I dry fire it about 15 minutes a week and it seems to be quick.
-
When forced to by a WSB I use the technique in the video. Any other time I just switch shoulders, keep my strong hand on the grip and use a second offset optic.
-
You can shoot one handed. You just can't be forced to shoot one handed.
-
I have an RTS2 With 6moa dot on a JP offset.
-
Unless I'm practicing reloads, I dry fire with the bolt locked back. The safety functions and the trigger has some slight movement.

Hello: I wish they made a Glock 17 one and a Sig MPX one. Thanks, Eric
They had one for the MPX at SHOT 2016, but it's never made it to market. I asked recently and they still plan on releasing it, but wouldn't give me an ETA.
In TF's latest newsletter he says they are coming out with a +20 for the MPX this year. -

I was talking about Quarter Circle 10.

They have a 7.5" and their feed ramp is one of the most forgiving I've tried.
-
QC10 would be my choice for what your wanting to do.
-
The smoke composite stocks need a quarter in them no matter what buffer you run.
-
Agreed, the spring bind is not a problem -- I stated that I tested that and found there wasn't any spring bind. The problem is that the buffer is now too long to function as before. I took out the cushion and replaced it with the original hex screw and it functions fine without the additional length of the cushion.
I would like to continue this discussion in order to get a better resolution. 1st, from your website:- For carbine buffer tubes only
- For use in blow back actions only
- Comes with TACCOM Rifle spring
- 6.2 ounces
- 2 stage action
- Allows for the BHO to functioin
- Also available with the “3rd” cushion stage
As I said, your addition of the cushion lengthened the buffer and I feel this is the cause of the problem. I suggested trimming the piston the amount the cushion lengthened the buffer could be a solution. You suggest taking out the delrin pad to allow for more space for the longer buffer setup. I can see this could be a solution, but I would rather keep the delrin pad.
I am going to trim the end of the piston (the end that hits the delrin pad) the thickness that was added by the cushion. All I want to know is if you feel there would be any detriment to doing this as far as mechanics or safety.
Thanks
PS, if this works as I feel it should, I think that you should offer a shorter piston to your customers with the cushion. Not everyone has a mill, like I do. This would only enhance your well earned (from what I have read) reputation.
Shortening the piston will not do anything. You need to shorten the overall compressed assembly the amount the cushion added from the main buffer body. I would suggest the end the cushion is on.
MPX Magwells, SSI or TTI?

SSI is plastic and the only one I have experience with. It’s bulletproof and served me well since it was introduced. If I had to do it again it would be the SSI.
