Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. I got a 24" m3k from my LGS yesterday! I am planning on running a few boxes through it today. I want to make sure it functions the way it should before I make any changes. I have some goodies for it on the way from MOA, so I should be in good shape with it's configuration by the weekend (except mag port). I'll likely start opening the mag port over the next couple of weeks. I think I'm really going to like this shotgun
  2. I used to have a problem with ants too. I started using a product called Termidor once a year and hardly ever see any bugs anymore, ants included. I spray it around the exterior perimeter of my house 1 foot up the wall and 1 foot on the dirt. It nukes the creepy crawlies. I friend of mine told me about it and said it's the same stuff some of the pro companies use, but I never verified that. I ordered it from Amazon. It's pricey but lasts forever because a little goes a long way
  3. I am looking forward to getting my m3k. I'll probably just put the ext tube on it and see how it runs after a few boxes of various loads and slugs. Once I feel good about it's function, I'll start cutting the port. Going to go ahead and order some goodies from MOA though
  4. Wow, I read all 73 pages! I'm new here and found the forum while searching the M3000. A wealth of information in this thread. I have been using an early model Rem1100 for 3 gun. I put a 22" Competition Master barrel on it. It functions 100% even with ultra cheap/light loads, but it's heavy and slow to load. I was planning to get an M2 until I saw a couple youtube vids about the Stoeger. Some guys at my local 3 gun have also been talking about it. I found a 24" at my LGS for $485, and I think I'm going to go for it.
  5. I read all 70+ pages on this forum about the Stoeger m3000 shotgun and it's modifications! It was a good read, and looks like a great online community here. I do a lot of hunting here in TN and shoot at my local 3 gun match once a month. Looking forward to posting and learning more.
