What did you do to tune your MBX mags so that they will accept 21 rounds of .40 and still be reloadaable?I just recently picked up 4 MBX mags to try and rectify some of the feeding issues that had cropped up with both my 2011's. Long story short....AWESOME! They fit 21 reloadable (I shoot .40) and I've had zero problems since switching.
I have two MBX mags and can get them booth to hold 20 rounds reloadable, but not 21... One of mine is a stock MBX, the other has TT follower and spring.
I would also like to know this myself. I have STI Tubes with Grams Springs and Followers with Dawson SNL pads and some MBX mags. I can get 21 in all of them but guarantee your not going to reload them with 21. I usually run 19 in the reload mags because not as much force is needed like 20.

STI and MBX work well

Having trouble uploading pictures on a add in the Classifieds section. Every picture I take says file is to large. Can someone please help me out with this?

Thanks for posting updated results comparing the two. I picked up a keg of N320 myself. Must be something to it if alot of the top shooters are using it so we'll see!!

Thinking of taking the plunge and getting a steel grip for my 2011. Ive had the chance to handle a SVI Tactical and Aggressive grip but not a CK Arms. I really like the Aggressive SVI Grip texture. Can someone with experience with the CK chime in and give me a texture comparison with it to the SVI as noone local to me runs a CK Arms grip
Thanks in Advance

Im happy with my Large CED backpack however i just use for Lvl2 or Higher matches. Local matches i use a medium size rangebag from Midway and it serves me well. I also purchased the cart which is a great concept but i never could get the tires to stay inflated so i switched it to 8" solid rubber wheels problem solved

I use 1/16" Stainless Dowel Pin 5/8" Long. Drill your hole in the mainspring housingslide the pin in then slide the mainspring housing back in the grip. Fully depress the grip safety in and take a small hammer and hit the bottom of the mainspring housing so it gives you a drilling point on the grip safety itself. Drill your hole in the grip safety deep enough for the pin to slide in and mainspring housing is fully in the grip.

Thanks for the info. Im waiting on a keg of N320 to test now using Blue Bullets. Some fellow shooters ive talked to stated that N320 was the softest shooting powder theyve used but i guess to each their own. I cant wait to give it a try

Seen some guys using shower caps since its only used when it rains it a much cheaper option!

Federal, WSP, WSR, S&B..... I get may 2 upside down per thousand, probably less. I guess I am one of the lucky ones!
I'll take those odds not to have to pick up 1k primers in tubes!!
-
I only use Federal primers in mine. Most of the time it works great but every now and then I will have one that doesnt wsnt to clear the blue plug in the chute or gets stuck in the filler tube. Usually notice the primer isnt perfectly round. may be a quality control problem with Federal but i couldnt live without my RF-100!!!

I like the pouches with the most adjustability.
Same reason I chose the Racemasters. Im a big guy that likes that outward cant so the Racemasters for adjustability was a no brainer for me!

OAL for TS .40
in CZ
The limiting factor on length with Tac Sports are the magazines, not the chamber. You can pass the plunk test past the 1.130- 1.135 that the mags will run reliably.
Short answer is 1.135 is really about the limit.
Run my TS loads at 1.14 with 0 reliability issues using CZ mags with CZC 140mm basepads

Picked up a 4lb keg from a local ammo manufacturer today. Figured it was worth a try with all the shooters ive talked to that use it highly recommend it so why not!

I may pick some up while PV has it in stock. How does the N320 meter in a Dillon Powder Measure?

with the blues whats your bullseye load? I have a batch of 180 blues on the way and more bullseye than anything right now as its my go to for 9mm
According to my scale 4.7gr is 171-2pf

Been using Bullseye for 40Major loads in USPSA since starting Limited from Production. Seen quite a few comments on people really liking VV N320. Not knowing if I may be missing something by not using VV N320. Not had any issues with the Bullseye but thinking of testing the waters on VV but would like to hear from you fine folks on the change. Is there less felt recoil using N320 or is it just very consistent. Wondering what the hype is with alot of shooters using it.

Didnt mean to start this topic in the Open Pistol section. Thought i was in General Reloading section. Moderator please close and I will post in proper forum.
New DVC or Used LimCat for a Limited gun

IMO you know your buddies DVC and have to take the Limcat seller at his eord. Not insinuating or calling someone dishonest by any means but thats just my opinion.
