Normal. Disco nose rides along that ramp. There is usually machining marks on there. If your DA is smooth and doesn't drop early, leave everything as is. There is a thread on here about tuning patriot defense bolo for longer DA travel, which consists of taking few thousandths off nose. You can do that to other discos too but usually not needed.

Mine still has original 2 piece sear and all.
Wow. I did change to one piece sear now that you mentioned it.

I agree with the quality/fit/QC. My stock master is fit very well. Checkering is aggressive and consistent. Trigger is very nice with only polish job and springs.

I’ll probably get the bolo.
I remember years ago when the T3 was the one to get and fit. If you have no issues fitting T3, the bolo will seem super easy.
-
Depends what your goals are and how much fitting you want to do, the Patriot Defense disco/interruptors are the best choices. There are 3 to choose from.
-
Make sure your rounds plunk. Use the factory firing pin over the Henning.
-
Seems like a stock master without slide cuts. I don't see how it'll be better. Even if there is new trigger system, it'll probably suck like the Xtreme and will have to be completely worked over.
-
Those two and Henning. That's about it. Shooters connection has some but nothing the previous three places don't have.
-
You basically have two ideal/top choices... stock 2 or stock master.
Stock 2 if you want a slightly shorter, slightly lighter gun.
Stock master if you want more nose heavy gun. Stock master slide is stroked even though it really doesn't make a difference.
New stock 2 optic ready should be imported soon by IFG.
With how prices are between stock 2 and stock master, stock master is actually cheaper.
-
Same internals as long as small frame or large frame.
Stock 2 has conical bull barrel, durable finish. It has been out the longest therefore more commonly popular. Weight balance is preferred by many.
Stock 1 is lighter, has no checkering.
Stock master as mentioned is essentially stock 3 frame, with stock 2 barrel and upper.

It can be noticed at the end of the DA stroke but it'll be minor, like few ounces like in SA. With gun apart, take sear cage and push up and down on sear. You'll be able to tell difference in resistance in springs along with the 3 vs 4 coils. Just replace them all with reduced power ones. Very easy and cheap.
-
Reliability should be similar. Probably feels few ounces heavier in single action with factory spring. Also, I believe the factory sear spring has 4 coils when looking at it from the top with it installed, reduced power has 3 coils.

Most all double stack pouches will work. Pouches have replaceable/adjustable shims and tension screws to fit mags.
-
Wonder if all the guns will have the new style cocking serrations.
-
You'll have to get a punch or rod and really hammer sight off then.
-
May have to heat up slide around sight base to loosen front sight
-
Gotta buy whole new one
-
Thanks for review!

It's really just preference. Stock master is more front end heavy. Slide is stoked. That's pretty much it. Recoil is sightly less. If I already had stock 2, I wouldn't rush out and get a stock master. If I had nothing, I would most likely get stock master from the get go.

The internals are a good bit different small to large.
Ya you're right. I guess I was more referring to getting the trigger nice and gun reliable is still doable.
-
Patriot defense and Henning parts are majority large frame. There are only a few part differences between the two. Large frame grip i believe is only slightly larger. I would only get large frame.
-
The 'side of the sight' meaning the part that moves for elevation, or the part that moves for windage?
-
The part that does up and down to change height elevation? You need to have a short front sight so the rear is screwed all the way down.
-
What is exactly breaking. I don't think there are fixed sight options.
Stock 2 - Factory wood grips - where to buy and fit?

I'm sure someone would sell you a set here on the classifieds.
These are same profile as factory grips but more traction and definitely will not break.
