  1. From my experience and knowledge, the xtreme models and limited pro are the only ones with one piece sear. Who knows what the newer guns come with.

Tons of threads about getting these guns race ready. What are you looking for in trigger job? You want to go all out and replace everything for best trigger possible? Want to just swap sear, springs and be good enough? Most important thing is to do a hardcore polish job of everything first.

  2. Switch back to stock interruptor to see if there is a difference.

Does single action break the same with slide on versus off?

Is there enough tension on case with the extractor as seen on this video.

No need for buffer. Make sure you have Henning or xtreme guide rod.

  3. With slide off, push the upper sear leg that contacts the firing pin safety down with your finger to make sure sear does lift up all the way.

You didn't touch the lower sear leg when fitting safety correct?

I have had 2 instances where trigger bar is out of spec.

  4. Pull back manually the hammer with your thumb. If the back of the hammer hits the frame/travels all the way, the hammer spring/spring pocket is fine.

It's most likely the trigger bar is worn where it contacts the lower sear leg that lifts the sear during single action. Check that area and also check lower sear leg.

OK, someone is fibbing about their hammer spring weights. The PD 15.5 feels WAY lighter than the Wolff 16.

Springs rated the same weight can feel different depending on length, coil diameter, number of coils, etc. This is why some prefer one brand over another even though all are rated same weight. Try the wolff 16lb, PD 16.5lb, stock spring. Make sure ammo plunks/chamber is reamed, primers seated deep.

  6. The bars are the same. Xtreme one just has a coating. The bolo metal hardness is way superior vs the trigger bar metal. The bar will definitely wear first.

Also with using the bolo, it is best to use the factory trigger plunger spring and not a super light one. Bolo needs more upward force of trigger bar to push against. Lighter spring will slip the trigger bar underneath bolo when pulling in double action.

  7. You need to fit bolo. Fit it so the DA works. The contact point of trigger bar is not fully engaging the ear of bolo to push hammer back in DA. The inner curve of bolo leg needs to be fitted so trigger bar travels a bit more forward. There are vids and instructions on this forum how to do that. Does this make sense?
