  1. The Pal Filler was $150 last year, and now they are selling it for $250... LOL Do you all think it's worth that much, let's say, compared to the Dillon RF100?
  2. I have used the BIC pen spring (the Atlantis version of their pen) for 2000+ live rounds plus at least 3 times of that number in dry fire with no problem. It should run more. I guess they are cheap enough to replace every time you do a detailed strip and cleaning.
  3. Henning also sells reduced power "feather weight" plunger springs. I got it and tried. DA/SA pull weights do not change between the BIC pen spring and the Henning ones. I think they are more expensive but peace of mind alternative.
  4. TJART, thanks a ton for reaching out to help. I will try that once I get a chance. I am pretty much done tickering with my Stock 2 right now. Just started doing the same work on Limited Pro. This will be very help. I ended up not running the T3 disco, just using the factory interrupter. I am pretty happy with the 6 lbs 5 oz DA and 2 lbs 10 oz SA. Although pre-travels are still there, I think over time I can master them via training. Thanks again.
  5. You can buy directly from the manufacture. $20 for 14oz can but shipping is $14 for me. https://www.lubriplate.com/Online-Store/Rifle-Greases/SFL-1.html Someone try this before I jump from SlideGlide to this Just found out MidWayUSA has it too, much cheaper: http://www.midwayusa.com/product/379954/lubriplate-sfl-0-gun-grease-14-oz-can
  6. Do you all have 3 sizes of plastic inserts, large medium and small, and 2 sizes of backing? I am trying the thinnest insert plus the thinnest backing. Still the K9 won't go in. I have been running these pouches with MP9 mags perfect fine, medium plastic inserts + thinnest backing. It's not uncommon that these plastic inserts were not manufactured up to the same spec. Some people's thinnest inserts may well be much thicker than yours. See this guy's width with his thinnest insert is 1.455, while mine with the thinnest insert is 1.369. My current workaround is to remove the wheel, adding a pad to the spring leaf such that when I walk around without mags in those pouches they do not ring like jingle bells. It works OK for now. I can adjust tension by adding or removing washers to the screw. Not perfect, but well.
  7. Every now and then, maybe 5 out of 300 rounds, I would feel the slide is not returning as quickly as usual. It's a bit delayed with some friction feeling that I can feel when it does return. It never, however, caused trigger freeze or any other malfunction. It just feels strange. Is this because of insufficient lube? I use Slip2000 and not sure if I should try others such as SlideGlide. Or maybe it's a timing issue? Or maybe I should up/down the recoil spring poundage? I am running 9# Wolff and 130 PF 9mm load.
  8. In marketing, this phenomenon is called cannibalization. Of course, if new shooter growth can fill in that 2.76% it's not. When PCC catches on, we will see more of this. No surprise there.
  9. I have been running with these mag pouches fine with MP9 mags. They need the thinnest rear spacer else they won't go in. I made sure everything is the thinnest possible. Still the measurements don't lie. Below you can see in the picture that even if I removed the wheel dial, the width of the mags are still more than the width provided by the pouches. This way, it is a "snug fit" if I push them in. If I add back the wheel dial, you would have to push hard to get it and in, and drag your belts all the way up to get the mags out.
  10. The parts interchange, but ....not the same.Lim pro uses a one piece sear, s2 a two piece. The fp block on the lim pro is thus extended to make it work. Obviously, the recoil spring and rod are different too. Having both. Those are what I noted as differences from the factory. (Aside from safety levers!) If they are both large frame, the same aftermarket goodies are used. Thanks. I put the 1 piece sear into my Stock 2 and it worked well with the Xtreme FP block. Does this mean if I just put the Xtreme FP block into the Limited Pro it would work too?
  11. Great information. Thanks guys! One more question - All the frame parts I used to set up Stock 2 can be used for the Limited Pro. For the upper, the only difference between a Stock 2 and Limited Pro is the recoil spring, correct? Firing pin, FPB etc. are all common between Stock 2 and Limited Pro, right? Thanks.
  12. I took mine to 2 live fire sessions so far. After 600 rounds, DA went from 7# 12oz to 6# 4oz now. SA stays the same at 2# 10oz. I am already very happy with how the trigger is, and I cannot imagine how nice it would feel when DA is only 5# and SA 1.5#.
  13. There are plenty of great sandpaper grip tapes. Talon, Dawson, etc. I love all of them. The only problem is how to make them stay in place... I grip really hard and the weak hand palm would shift the tape after just 1 dry fire session, especially on a not so smooth surface like that of the Xtreme grip panels. So far I find the only way is to apply super blue on the back of the tape. If your grip is clean and de-greased when you apply it, this stuff sticks and stays on better than any tape I've used. It doesn't shift around. The stuff I have on my grip right now was put on last summer and no shifting so far and I grip pretty hard too. Arms like and orangutan. For the different tapes that do shift, I've always just run a bead of super glue gel around the inside of the outer edge. Just peel it up about 1/4" all the way around, run the bead and tamp it down with a flat screwdriver (ask me how I know not to use your fingers) and you're all set. It won't come off till you take it off with acetone. Thanks for the information. I am gonna try these mob grips.

  15. Tested the #83 o-ring on the back of the firing pin. Works great!
  16. I just tried the #83 o-ring on the back of the firing pin. It works great to protect the hammer hitting on the firing pin in dry fire.
  17. I am new to Tanfos. Would love to know what are the parts easily broken, trigger bar? trigger return spring? Will need to have some spare in the range bag. Thanks.
  18. Yes, after I sanded down the wood grips, they really work well with the grip tape. The only drawback is that the wood grips are too thick for my small hands. I tried to grind them thinner but at one point it nearly broke at the thinnest part. I guess I over did it, even though they still feel too fat. So I stopped using it fearing it would snap at some point.
  19. Is the factory safety on Stock 2 already the thinnest possible that is production legal? The big wedge is being accidentally pushed up by my support hand thumb base. I tend to have very high grip with my weak hand. Any suggestions? Thanks.
  20. Is there anything like the CZ VZ Diamondback grips for Stock 2? I have the Xtreme and Henning grips, but neither is even close to the gripiness I'd like to have. I ended up putting on grip tape on top of the Henning smooth (without any texture) grips, but the grip tape still slides and glides after each session. The only option left seems to permanently super glue the grip tape to the Henning. How grippy is the SSI scale grips, compared to Xtreme and Henning?
  21. Not bullet out, just regular DAA Racer mag pouches. I think the round dial is made of aluminium. Dremel time.
  22. That would mean I have not removed enough materials, because neither DA nor SA hammer has ever fallen. How does the new T3 wedge part look now compared to the stock interrupter? Still a lot thicker?Yes, at least 30% thicker.
  23. That would mean I have not removed enough materials, because neither DA nor SA hammer has ever fallen.
  24. My personal preference is to have the narrowest possible front, because the LPA rear notch is way too narrow for quick sight acquisition. I am using 0.140 x 0.090 Dawson and I still feel the front is too wide and the rear notch is too narrow. I'd go with the 0.120 x 0.080 if it exists.
