I used one for 2 years and ended up giving it away.

I could sort everything quicker by han.

The problem was 380 fit 9mm, 9 fits 40 and 40 fits 45.  You still have to sort through it again.

    IMO it's waste of coin.

Are you sure you don't have them in the wrong order, LOL.

45 brass can't fit trough the 40 or 9 mm tray. It gets trapped in the 45 tray

40 brass goes through the 45 but can't fit through the 40 tray.  It gets trapped  in the 40 tray

You get the idea for 9 mm

    Sounds like a User error

I use these and they work perfectly.  It is (almost) idiot proof

Hello: If you through in Carry Optics with a fast GM he may beat both the PCC and the Open pistol guys. That has been done quite a bit also. Thanks, Eric

If you look at the results of the 2019 Miami Open, Speedy beat Max by 7%.  They shot almost the identical # of A/C/D/M in a similar amount of time.  The Minor vs. Major scoring was the difference.  If a CO shooter beats Open, they are not of equal ability

I’m friends what a guy who was a top shooter in the late 80s though the 90s into the mid 2000s and he said each sponsorship was worth about 10k. Sti would give him enough parts to build like 3 guns each year. Montana gold would give him 100k bullets plus set him as a distributor for them so he could make extra money. All the guys make most of their money doing classes at 1000 bucks a day plus expenses.

Wow. So, the world champion dumps SVI for ~10K and some bullets while Bryce Harper gets 330 million after hitting .249.  Not getting rich shooting, even at the pinnacle of the sport

  4. The other thing to consider is that if you want to use a thumb rest with a 90* mount, you might need to use a racker on the right side of the gun.  Real estate gets tight if you want both on the left.  Before I change to an RTS2, I had a 90* slideride.  The minimal difference in height above the bore has not been relevant

I had the same exact issue because of my big hands. Went to a single sided safety and problem solved

Huh?? A single sided safety does nothing to  fix dragging the strong hand thumb on the slide.  Needs a shield.

Another vote for DoubleTap here but the Limcat version looks good

Maybe I didn't pose the question correctly, what's the mix ratio of alcohol and lanolin..

    1:8 lanolin: alcohol

I saved this from an unknown website:

    Home made case lube:
I have used this for years on 22-250 and .223. Works great.
    Step One -Gather contents -
Liquid Lanolin (100% pure was $7.00 at the local health food store)
Isopropyl Alcohol (at minimum 91% $1.19 at the local drug store - 99% is best couldn't find it)
If you go to an Auto Store ISO HEET is 99% Isopropyl
New or Clean spray bottle (from the "Dollar" store) has ratio markings and ounce markings so it helps

    Step Two
Warm the Lanolin in warm tap water (110 to 120 degrees F - NO OPEN FLAMES!)
Do the same for the IPA, this will help in the mixing process.

    Step Three
Pour 2 (two) ounces of the warmed Lanolin into the spray bottle

    Step Four
Pour 16 (sixteen) ounces of the warmed IPA into the spray bottle giving you an 1:8 ratio
This seem to be the ratio that best mimics Dillon Spray Lube (add more IPA if you feel it is too thick in your dies)

    Step Five
Shake until contents becomes homogenized and label the bottle accordingly (so you don't confuse it with CLP or something)

Also, you already have 2 scores in the A bracket (82.9% and 78.9%), all you need is 4 more to move up to an Open A.

Not exactly.  You do not need 6 A scores to move up to A class.  Your average of the best 6 of the last 8 needs to be greater than 75%.

    You are fine Racer.

The "wet guys" seem to think that the case needs to be super shiney including the primer pocket and the inside of the case. Which means the cases need to have primers removed before tumbling, which adds an extra big step...

But as you and I know, none of that really matters for accuracy or consistency or reliability. Tumble em, load em, tumble again, and shoot em!

    :)

But what about the children dust, LOL

.... best six out of the last eight. It does not say anything about oldest...

The LAST EIGHT= The newest.  Therefore, the OLDEST gets dropped.

If you go to the USPSA website, look at the CONCISE view under the classifier lookup.  It might be easier for you to follow

Are you running 10.6 in atlas or custom build?  10.6 in my tang was flat as s#!t but had 12 holes in barrel 🙄 lol I’m jumping to 9.8 today

Not an Atlas.  Rafferty Custom with an SV Hybrid barrel, 3 holes

Your going have have major spillage at. 9.8 of 3n38.. Good luck loading that

No. He's loading supercomp, not 9Major

I load 10.6g  of 3n38 in 38 SC with essentially no spillage. I also use Spillstop from Reloading Innovations

I'm going to be the nay sayer here.  IF anything, shooting Limited will make you a worse stage planner, especially if you are using 20-23 round mags.  You are only going to have one mag change per course and there is always a spot where you can change mags without losing time.  How does that help with Production planning?

Get on a squad with a GM or M and watch what they do.  Thoughtful plans, no wasted motion and lots and lots of As.

I agree with this. If you want to be a better Production shooter, shoot Production.  I wasted 2017 trying to compete in 4 divisions.  It was fun  but my progress stagnated.  I dedicated 2018 to shooting only one division and my classification/match results improved significantly

  13. I think that some pistol shooters still look at HOA (which really doesn't exist) on PractiScore and get "butthurt" when they get beat by PCC shooters.

HOA is not a thing.  As an Open shooter, I compare myself to other Open shooters.  If I get beaten by a PCC shooter, it means nothing.  How many times must this dead horse be beaten?  Let it go....
