Guns are assets that depreciate at different rates. Like exotic cars compared to a Honda.
Resale value for an SVI is better than most, if not all competition guns available. Shoot one for a few years and then sell it. Your net cost will probably be a pleasant surprise

Has been really fast paced this last season. Can't see them spending 5 more episodes just tying up loose ends. But only a few plot lines that can really be drawn out....
LOL. It is over next week. Only 6 episodes in season 8.

Hi Crash Dodson
Was going to order the Limcat magwell and wanted to make sure which one since thay have two. I'm assuming are talking about the heavy one 7.8 oz ( Brass Top )
Thanks
i would NOT use the Brass Limcat magwell with a steel grip. Too heavy. It is perfect for a plastic grip. Use the standard Limcat magwell with the PT EVO

I doubt much will change as they will be a wholly owned subsidiary....
Something always changes with acquisitions. Might be better, might be worse but when someone else is In control, change is a certainty

You can:
A. pay a premium for 1lb cans of 3n38
B. try N350- lots of 4lb available. You will have a hard time distinguishing this from 3n38
C. try another manufacturer
i have opted for plan C

Unless you look really good in yoga pants and a crop top, don’t expect a pallet of ammo to be delivered to your door anytime soon.
They’re also not passing out free infinities to the second place M class at your state match. As others have said, you can get a discount here and there but in our sport Even the best of the best are unlikely to be making a living from just shooting. When it trickles down to the mere mortals, it would be unrealistic to think that a significant portion of expenses would be covered by sponsors. Fortunately, dry fire is free

+1
We can land on Jupiter but can't build a durable MRDS with slideride-sized glass and RTS2-sized footprint

I just Chrono'd my first batch of Major Pistol. Can't comment on flatness yet. Recoil felt similar to 3N38
38 Supercomp
5 inch KKM barrel with V6 holes
LSI comp
124g Precision Delta JHP at 1.245"
CCI SRP
80*F
10.6 g avg FPS 1379 SD 10 PF 171.0
10.8 g avg FPS 1399 SD11 PF 173.5
For comparison, 9.7 g of 3N38 yields a PF of ~170 with my barrel.
Doing the math for these loads at 25K rounds/year, one would save ~$250/year using Major Pistol powder instead of 3N38. This does not factor in the deal going on at Powder Valley now b/c they are out of stock

What size is the window on the Sig Max?
Height 24mm
Width 30mm
or I could have just looked at the picture above!

Window is 25 x 22.5mm.
RTS2 is 25.76 x 22.
Waiting for the Sig MAX.

If you are using a 650, you need dies, .223 shell plate (13345) and Station 1 locator (13614)

I just use rolled up tape stuck to the back of the target. I’m attaching to painted drywall, so I typically go for masking tape or blue tape to avoid damaging the paint.
Same. I would also consider using scaled targets--you only have 28'

Google has failed me. Who the heck is PSAD? All I can find is Pennsylvania society for advancement of the deaf. I think a scoop would work well for them too in USPSA.
Sent from my iPhone using TapatalkCould it be PSTG--practical shooting training group?

I'm in for 5#. Can't seem to find any 4# kegs of 3n38 right now.
Load data on this forum is scarce for 38SC. Seems like most experience has been with 9Major. Assuming that it is slower than my current 3N38, I will start at the VV charge weight and work upwards

Nice blaster. I think you probably have a V6. The 38SC has V8

I recently checked this...a 3mm TTi pad fit the gauge. I would definitely confirm prior to IPSC nats if that is what you are shooting

You have to understand as there popularity grows there turn times are going to get longer.. Thats expected of a growing businesses.. You don't want them putting out garbage just to meet advertised time lines.
I ordered a Nemesis last year.. Got it in 90 days.
Ordered a chaos last November received it just shy of 4 months.. I expected that..
Agree but then it is time to change the advertised time line.
I am waiting on a gun from a builder that I won’t name. I was told ~4 months. It’s almost 10. Ready to lose my mind

hello everyone,
is it recommended to use different scaled dry fire target for the drills?
or just use the smallest one for best benefit?
e.g.
1/2 targets for el prez (focus on speed)
1/6 target for trigger and front sight practice
I would recommend using the largest dryfire target that your space allows. Practice on targets that most closely approximate live fire. Using 1/6 targets for drills with movement is not ideal--the distance changes too quickly with limited movement. I use full size targets to simulate 10 yds and closer, 1/2 for 10-20, 1/3 for 20+. Unless your space is very tight, avoid 1/6 targets

Check out the Doubletap Mount. This will fit RTS2, DPP and Romeo 3
There are spacers for different frame widths

I have an 8 and a 6. I prefer the 8. I have never had a situation where I wish I had a smaller dot

Will that fit a gauge with 7mm base pads?
No, but I shoot Open so the only gauge issue is for the 170mm mag.
Use a 4G2 TTi pad with a 140mm mag in Limited

B, exactly what springs, followers and basepad are you using, and what is the reloadable capacity? I called TTI two days ago and asked which of their stuff worked with Gen 2 mags. I was told they hadn't played with them yet, so they didn't know what would work. I definitely want to change basepads, because I don't think the plastic would survive many drops.
140mm STI Gen2 tube
11 coil Grams spring and Grams follower
TTI 7mm basepad
I think I can stuff in 24 of 38SC but easily 23 reloadable
With a 170mm tube, 13coil and a 3mm basepad. 29 reloadable

I have been an MBX fan for a while but I am liking the STI gen2 as well. With Grams springs/followers and a TTI basepad, they are significantly cheaper than the MBX

If you are referring to brass getting stuck inside each other, yes, this occurs in limited quantity. In my opinion, the trays are still a lot faster than hand sorting. YMMV
Did I make the right call?
