What's the deal with having to file the pad in order to center it? How goofy does it look if you don't do that? Not that goofy. It will look like a Cheely offset mount. When you are shooting you will never know that it is offset.
Brazos makes one that will be centered without milling

Put a dislike button too. Post counts could go down if you say dumb/irrelevant things... Particularly profound posts can get golden ticket from a Moderator that allows instant classified access. Think of it as BE Forum Got Talent.

I believe It shows as (U)npaid) for when the club hasn't paid. After payment it will change to (P)ending

I have both a 550B and a 650 with a casefeeder and bullet feeder. The 550 is set up for large primers, 650 for small. After loading on the 650, going back to the 550 is painful. It is more than just the speed difference.

Hello: I know guys that use Berry's 115 grain bullet for practice. JHP for matches. Thanks, Eric
why bother with plated when you can get JHP for less than $0.09?

Check/clean/grease the indexing ring.
And call Dillon

Keep in mind that if you are planning a reload to a 140, you may want to download the mag a round or 2 to ease the seating of the magazine. I would not stuff it with 24 and reload with it.
I have been practicing reloading to the big stick as this need comes up at matches more frequently than I initially realized

I get 24 rounds of 38sc in my 140s
Older STI tube, 11 coil Grams spring and follower, 7mm TTI basepad

Nice!! I get the sense that you have already put more effort into this than the "statisticians" at the USPSA

... There is one classifier actually called "On the Move" and if you want a GM time on it I think you need to shoot that on the move...
Even this classifier requires only 2-3 steps

. If you want a bullet feeder which save you time, go for the normal MBF.
Exactly. You will not regret the purchase

very simple:
if target is 25yards or less:Target focused
if target is greater than 25 yards: greater sight focused and blurry target but not totally front sight focused

huh?? OP has an open gun.
As for your suggestion, with irons, shooting at a 24.9 yard target with a target focus is probably not the most accurate strategy for most of us

Hit the locator with some dry silicon spray. Helped decrease my sticking issues

I feel your pain on 2 recent classifiers:
09-02 74.0862 10.2210 82.67% before the update
06-05 73.7642 11.1111 84.05% before the update

If you are interested , I found this thread very helpful. Definitely, don't want a scare at the chrono at a big match. I had to go to a 7th shot once. Never again.

I have 2 155s. I rarely use them. I think that they reload very similarly to 140s for my average sized hand. Like Gooldy, I almost always start with a 170. This past weekend, a stage called for an unloaded table start with a 5 yard run to the table and then a short run top the first position. Based on the round count of the stage, I used the 155, thinking that it would be a little easier to load on the move. I think it is a bit of a niche tool. Maybe if you are starting to buy mags from scratch, get all 155s instead of 140s.

38SC, 8# variable, no buff for me

Will Dawson base pads fit in the Limcat mag well?
I have a Limcat magwell on a plastic grip. I have to use TTI basepads. Dawson SNLs on 140mm mags will not work

are plastic grips on open major OK?
Yes they are

Yes, they work. I have a Chen2 on a Wilson Combat

I was having similar problems for about 1000 rounds just before the ring indexer broke.
After changing it (requires an alignment tool that is free from Dillon) and a deep cleaning problem solved.
I would pull the platform, clean and lube everything and re-align the platform with the above-mentioned tool

I don't like dry fire routine, I just put many 1/3 targets(~50) on the wall, and set a dry fire stage each day. Then do a walk through, just like a real stage. Normally I will run several times for that stage and use a timer to push myself. I want to practice as close as a match, not a particular part of shooting .
There is a reason that none of the dryfire books recommend this strategy as the primary practice mode.... Just sayin'
Which optic mount for DPP
in Open Pistols

My mistake. I had one on my Brazos gun before I changed to a DPP. Hard to keep track of all of them. In any event, you really won't notice the offset if you choose not to file/mill the mount to get it centered
