Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. Tomorrow, on the USPSA website. Should be an email sent to everyone today with the link and login information. Did you get the email sent on the 31st from Cheryl?
  2. Can anyone comment on wearing Rudy's under over-the-ear protection? Oakleys are great, but feel like they're crushing my skull under my headset. I wear my Gatorz at work and to matches because they're flat against my head and comfortable, but I'd like to get a clear set of eye-pro.
  3. This'll be my first big match. With the staff shoot going on the 4th and 5th, should I plan on arriving on the 4th, or wait until Thursday when the rest of the competitors shoot?
  4. Just got this email: Thank-you for registering for the 2015 Rio Salado Desert Classic - Area 2 USPSA Championship Match. Your payment for the match has been received and this email confirms you are in the match. Then has a link to pay...thought that was weird as they've already taken my money. Oh well. See us in March!
  5. The website has hotel info on it, giving a special rate of $99 a night at the closest hotel. I called, and the actual rate is $139...still better than anything else around. Made reservations right there. I haven't got an email, but my match management page says "Thank you for your payment. You may squad below." I assume that means I'm approved.
  6. Shoot. Add me to this shindig, please A79337, Production
  7. Another possibility is that you're losing front sight focus as you try to move through the stage. Instead of thinking FSF, you're mind is on the next target. Just a thought...
  8. I've been thinking about getting the new Dillon 9mm adapter for the Super Swage. Sounds like it's a little snug. Chuck the adapter up in a drill press and use sandpaper to take a little off the adapter. Should take enough off to allow it work with sized cases. Let us know how you remedied this. Like you, I would probably size and de-prime before using the swage. BTW, No issue using the swage with 9mm for me... I've done thousands of 9mm but never more than a couple of hundred at a time. If I had ten thousand WCC cases to process I would probably trick my wife into helping me swage for a couple of hours and then mention I could get a machine that would do it "automatically". My new 1050 would arrive within days . Are you swaging after resizing? What kind of brass are you using? All of mine is WCC 12. With as much mil 9mm and 556mm I get from work, a 1050 is sounding pretty good...
  9. Hey all. Been shooting in competition in one form or another (International Pistol, High Power Rifle, USPSA) for about 9 years now. Figured it's about time I get in the reloading game. Recently bought a 650 and love it. Just working on developing my load. Thanks to what I've read here so far, I think I'm going in the right direction. Then again, I may just know enough to be dangerous. Looking forward to really educating myself here! Dave
  10. I'm having issues running 9mm through the SS. I have the Dillon 9mm adapter on it, but after running the brass through my 650 to deprime/resize it, the brass is getting stuck on the locator rod after swaging. I figure the issue is that the brass has been resized, but I can't deprime without resizing due to the die. Any suggestions?
