Thanks for the inputs. How dangerous is the occasional inverted primer. I would think inserting it could be quite dangerous. I'm just setting up my Dillion XL 650 and haven't even loaded my first round and just read grant22s posting about a primer pickup tube detonation as he pulled the pin to drop primers. Made me start thinking seriously about primer handling, machine grounding, grounding straps, grounding mats anti static spray etc. grant22's incident occurred in Lake Havasu, AZ when the humidity was very low so lots of potential static electricity. I'm in Las Vegas, NV. Same problem.
