I had a chrono issue with Freedom SuperMatch at a sanctioned IDPA match yesterday. Yesterday, I got pulled from my squad at the Iowa State match because this ammo did not pass chrono with an average of 124.1. Luckily, they pulled three rounds for my mag and used my gun (G-34) and it passed.....however, what if I was shooting a G-19 in CCP....I might have been screwed. I also had one, first-round malfunction that appear to be an improperly seated primer. I used their 115 grain ammo until this year when they changed the load and it won't make minor PF. I am trying to avoid reloading so I thought their SuperMatch was the way to do...but not so sure now.

Swanny, thanks coming out and thanks for the good word. It took 18 months to get the concept to a reality, and like you noted it would have been great to get a larger turn out, we were pleased with the first offering of the match. We appreciate 5.11 Tactical getting on board right off the bat as well as some of our other great sponsors. Next year we won't pick to go up against St. Patty's day weekend and the Big 12 in KC. Probably looking at pushing it two weeks farther back but we will make sure we avoid Easter and the MO 3-Gun championship that Josh and family put on. By the way, the MO 3-Gun Championship was a great match, I shot that too! Stay safe.

Anyone know when the Badlands match is going to be held this year? I google-fu'd it but no luck. Thanks.

Got my hands on a new VM Tactical and have it a C-Rums getting worked over right now. Looking forward to it.

I just mailed my app in today.......I am for sure an amateur as this will be my second 3 Gun match ever. Let the bleeding begin!

I use a regular target stand with a USPSA or IDPA carboard target. Then I tape the box top from a copy paper box to the back to trap the air soft BB's. Works like a charm.

I have been using one for practice for IDPA, paid $100 from airplat. I used a Fobus paddle for a Glock 21 becuase it is too wide to fit into a holster for a G-17. I have not had any problem over the last three months.
