I've purchased 'tuned' mags that were neither 'super' nor 'tuned'. Buy good components and use them and make sure they work in your gun.
Feed lips were different on each mag to the next, the feed lip width was fine and in specs. I just tune my own mags and don't worry if i can't get 20 or 21 rounds into it.

I stayed at the Holiday Inn (match hotel). AC dripped H2O on my floor before someone got up to fix it....2 days to do so. Not a great hotel. Too far away from the range for my taste. 25 min drive at least.
I'd stay up in Owasso next time, Holiday inn or the best western. Plenty of restaurants and very close to the range.

Ugh. Sounds alot like one of the big matches i just went to this august. Entire squad did nothing to very little. Even helped themselves to my chair.

Limited is no optics but why no 9mm Maj...the supported chamber thing does not hold water...can get any pistol with a supported chamber
Production does not have to be minor....get a supported bbl and it could be maj...
it just makes no logical sense to me..
Off the shelf 9mm ammo is not major. With production, it is (in essence) a shoot what you can buy rather easily. Even most +p ammo is nowhere near the velocity needed for 'major' scoring.
9mm major is done in Open as magazine capacity would be not different than 38 super and sc. The powders we have today and with much tinkering can get you to major. You are more than welcome to shoot .40 in Open. Allowing 9major did not send droves of people to get their guns rechambered.
Allowing 9 major in Limited is just silly. You would now force thousands of shooters to go to 9major just because of the magazine capacity. 4-6 rounds of extra ammo per mag would do just that, it would changed the whole focus of the sport. Many would be out since they could not afford to retool, and those that can would finish in matches just as they were before 9major was allowed.
So, the net result is nothing, wasted dollars for the game, and the top 25% of shooters would finish like they would shooting major with 40.

I shot some loads over the weekend.
Billy bullet 180 gr. FP (moly)

4.4 gr E3

Avg. 961 fps

Very clean, temp was mid 90's. 40% humidity. NO Smoke!!!!
Gun was clean too. I shot about 200 rounds of this load. Gun was clean, no soot. Recoil was soft, not snappy...
Addendum. I shot a 4 stage match yesterday, gun was clean. I had not cleaned it from the day before. With TG, my gun was sooty, with carbon residue all over the chamber and hood area. NOt so with the E3.
I love this powder.
I also chroned some more loads.
I need 4.8 gr of E3 with the MG CMJ bullet (180) to reach PF. i ended up with a FP of 172. load length of 1.180"

Flat rate priority mail boxes are excellent. However, do you think the USPS will ever catch on and restrict such items? I would imagine that it really angers the mail carrier.
With USPS losing business since the advent of the internet, they need to deliver any box they can get their hands on.
It used to be the only gubment institution that actually made a profit.

I went back to steel after i broke my tungsten.
I don't notice much difference. In fact the rod had broken during the match and i never really seemed to feel the difference. Lost 80$$ in the dirt though.
If you like the feel of it and its reliable, run with it.

I had my primer tube go kaboom. Winchester primer did not drop out out of position into the blue tray. The primer remained in the disk, Primer got fed where a new one should drop...boom, entire tube 90+primers...
dillon did replace.
Now if I have any problem, i manually remove the primer from station 2 and do not rely on it dropping out if i have a problem.

Curious in how much smoke is produced with the black bullets i know with TG it smokes the crap out of the black bullet

Looks like 4.6 gr would make a comfortable PF. No primer flow or flattening. I do get flattening with TG now and then at my major loads.
It felt like 320, less snappy than TG. Less dirty and plenty accurate. i could keep shots in the a zone head shot at 10 yards with ease.
