Well I took the plunge, so far it's ok, sao pull is pretty good for a stock trigger but the dao is totally different story, I'm looking in changing some springs and may be a little bit of polishing and a lot of dryfire will do the trick.

JFlowers would mind posting picture of of you para open gun? any problems as far reliability wise? I do have a 2011 frame being build but I wan't to build my para as back up or a club gun while i'm waiting for my 2011 to finish.

[CZ SP-01 Phantom]

I been toying with the idea of getting another production gun for uspsa or maybe a back up or may be even my primary. I am currently using glock 34 and a used cz sp01 phantom came up (@$500). I don't have any experience with the cz sp01 line. I tried one long time ago from a fellow shooter but it's a shadow, i know that phathom is a polymer but I can't seem to find any reviews for it on uspsa production. Just wanted to know if magazines, holster trigger parts interchange with the shadow? Any thoughts as far as production gun or should I just save my money and get shadow. Thanks

I was just thinking of doing the same thing (open para). I do have a p14 and thinking of building a open 9major or 38 super. The only thing that is stopping is 170mm magazine, I do have some old para p18 mags(140mm) (canadian) but can't seem to find any 170mm.
