  1. Just got my order today for 9mm that I had placed Jan 23.
  2. just got my order. Funny cause my CC was just charged last night and the bullets came today. can't wait to try them out..
  3. Just got an email saying my full order was shipped yesterday. woohoooo....
  4. You want to hear price gouging? A local gunshop in San antonio, Nagles, charging $32 for 100 (yes that one-hundred) primers. I',m happy to get them from Cabelas for $37 a 1000. Yes it's high, but I don't have the luxury of waiting on PV right now, if I am going to continue shooting matches.
  5. I just contacted Cabelas to check on order. They received my order and said they are set to ship 5000 small pistol. I asked them if they have a limit on primers, and they said only in the store, not online.
  6. I ordered some last night. They charged my card. We'll see what happens. This morning they are not showing up on the website. Estimated delivery date 3/12. lol
  7. I placed an order today, and had some questions about loading these, as I've only been loading JHP and FMJ. He was really nice and got back to me to answer my questions.
  8. I just ordered the polishing media from Drill Spot. Very good price on the 20/40 grit blast media, and has lots of great reviews.
  9. They charged my card too. We'll see...
  10. Urgg, can't find any load data for 9mm on this powder. Guess it's a no go...
  11. I am a new reloader...have a Dillon 650 and have had good results so far with TiteGroup loading 9mm with 115 gr JHP and 124 gr Berrys. Any feedback on Winchester Super Target? Have a chance to purchase some, and with things the way they are, wondering if I should stock up... Does it work well with the Dillon 650 powder charge system? Thanks, Terry
  12. Case feeder. I don't think I would even one a bullet feeder for the already stated reason, last check...
  13. It's working now. It was the little tab caught on the tube. Thanks so much !
  14. After loading about 300 rounds, my new 650 case feeder quit working. I took the plate out to make sure there wasn't dirt or debris inside, and this didn't help. I only had about 50 cases in it, so I'm wondering what the deal is. It's just dead ! Gave up trying to call Dillon.. Terry
  15. I ordered bullets on January 23. Called them last week, and they said they were just starting to fill orders placed on January 17th. So they are way behind.
  16. Hi everyone. I'm a female from the Texas Hill Country north of San Antonio. I've actually been shooting on and off for about 30 years, however last year decided to get more into competition. I found a local women's shooting club, A Girl and A Gun, joined last year, and several of us shoot USPSA. I've done 3 USPSA matches, along with a steel last month, and am really digging it. Because of the ammo situation, I decided to give hand loading a try. I bought a Dillon 650 (go big or go home, I always say), took an NRA metallic reloaders class, and spent some time with friends who reload. So I really like the idea of loading my own ammo...but it's scary as hell. I loaded some light loads last week, went to the range to test them out, and they cycled perfectly, with nice groups. I'm not even worrying about PF right now, just being careful and doing things correctly. I'm shooting a 9mm XDm. Anyway, that's where I'm at. I've noticed that every time I do online research, I end up here at this forum...lol So decided I better come out of hiding and say hello. Terry
  17. Hi Jensey, I am a female, and new to this forum too...in fact haven't made my intro yet...but anyhoooo.... I've shot about 3 local USPSA events, and found everyone to be fun and very helpful. These guys love to help ! So my advice is to pick their brains on what they are shooting, and why they like it. I am shooting Limited Minor with my Spirngfield XDm 9mm 5.25 competition. I've been shooting on and off for 30 years...have shot everything from S & W revolvers to a Colt 1911 Gold Cup. I love my XDm because I have small hands and it is very comfortable, and great for competition straight out of the box. . So take a look at one when you have a chance, and make sure you try the different back straps on it. I also belong to a women's shooting club, and a lot of the girls are shooting the XD/XDm... Because I am new to USPSA, I just take my time, make sure I'm safe, and have fun. Like everyone has said, the speed, etc. will come with experience. Good luck with your class !
