here's another stupid question... only because I'm looking at getting one of these. How tall does the setup end up being (from the bottom of the press to the tp of the case bowl)? My current bench might be too high and I'm worried the case bowl will not fit under the rafters in the basement.
You need 54 inches between the top of your bench/mount to the ceiling to fully open the hopper lid

I'm using TTI base pads and these fowlers and getting 25+1 in My M&P

That amount would only matter if you were rifle bench rest shooter. Pistol no issues.

Don't email you need to call them and if you don't want to wait on hold you can leave a call back number and they will get back to you. I broke my case pusher my fault called to ask where I could by they sent me 3 new ones for free.

I also recommend these I had to shim 9MM and .223 shell plate up with one of each for .012" total thickness fixed a lot of the case pusher issues.

I went from LNL to X-10 got it running smoothly a lot quicker than it took on LNL. I recommend checking every screw and bolt and make sure its tight.

Those are some good results.

I also have both and love them and really liking the Overwatch precision triggers on mine. I also have apex trigger but think the Overwatch have less take up.

I wonder how much it will factor in to reloading if the "chat" is correct about our names and personal info will be reported upon buying ammo?
Seems it would be a very hard sell to track reloaded ammo from my basement.

I had a Competitor and ran the Floyd’s brass magwell and the Freelance brass mag extensions. Everything ran good together. I ended up selling the M&P because I couldn’t good it to shoot a good group no matter what I tried.
How big was the group?

I recently purchased a metal 2.0 Competitor. I have a Docter Optic, but the problem is the rear iron sight blocks access to the adjustment locking screws on the optic.
I wanted to just remove the rear sight; however, it is also used to hold down the firing pin blocker pin/spring.
Does anyone make a dovetail with no sight for this application?
Thanks,
The firing pin block is under the optic not the iron sight so you can remove with out issue. The firing pin block is only under irons on non optic ready models.

I went from a CZ75B s/a ,to a S&W Metal I really like the Smith just waiting to try it out in a match.I see They make 23 rd mags ,do they work?
The 23 rd mags are over 140MM so not legal. S&W dropped the ball on that.

The RHT dropped and offset is a no go according to our local AC or whatever his title is. I've gone back to a race holster for USPSA, but for IDPA with a cover garment, I'm not sure it's worth the trouble to chase the holster advantage.
I tried my USPSA holster for the hell of it and it was hard to clear cover garment with that set up.

Only new I think, I got one of their Battle belts last year and an extra inner belt to use with my DAA Lynx with the ratchet. Had I seen this I would have jumped on it.
How do you like the battle belt version? I need one for mutli gun and thinking about trying this.

If you don't mind me asking what have you spent on parts so far? I'm thinking about going this route.

Brass prices looked good till the shipping calculated $85 for shipping of 5000 rounds 9MM brass.
-
It does shoot flatter than my 4-1/4 Metal.
-
The competitor isn't ported just has slide cuts. The slide weights the same as my 4-1/4 Metal M&P
