I just hope I didn't get hosed. In ordered the last pmag extension they had on the 19th. Haven't seen it yet or been charged.

Is Dawson down for the holiday season? I've tried calling and emailing. Can't get a response.

Just ordered The Edge trigger, DP tool-less base pads, DP magwell, and DP sights. Planning on ordering a guide rod and spring(s). Looking for suggestions for each Shooting 3 gun only and most likely 124 or 147 fed American eagle for now. Thanks in advance fellas

Should have added... Noveske barrel 1:7 twist if I'm not mistaken. Would be interested in other loads as well. Just wanna shoot some heavier bullets. It's a tack driver with 50gr vmax's

Having a buddy load up a couple hornady 75gr bthp Anybody have a good load worked up for these? What can I expect for velocity etc from 18" barrel with Titan comp?

I'm pretty sure it has a "made in china" sticker on the mount. I'll check when I get home. The optic is made overseas as well.

Doesn't look like any of the ADM mounts I saw on their website. Not saying it isn't, but it sure doesn't look the same.

Height is okay considering I have a PRS stock. The finish looks cheap and like it won't last. The fit to rail was fine. The roundness of the hole for scope mounting doesn't look round. After lapping, it fits. It holds zero after 100 rounds but I can't say what will happen after it takes a beating.

Finally got this thing out a sighted in. With hand loaded 50 gr vmax 3 shot groups are slightly larger than bullet size. Basically, all in the same hole at 100 yards. Gotta say, I'm more than pleased.

I bought it. I'm not 100% satisfied. It looks/feels cheaply made. I'll be making the switch to a higher end quick release soon

I ordered it through a friend locally bits back ordered. Forgot to add the rainier raptor charging handle on my build list.

I may be confused, but last time I checked, the gas key being staked is pretty darn important. AFAIK Young's BCGs are typically properly staked. Nope, from the factory Young BCG's will not be staked. Many dealers stake them before they send them out, but not alll.

Okay, so I picked up my new AR today and it is SWEET. My issue is that I paid for a Young MFG chrome BCG. I kinda get the feeling that this isn't a Young. It's certainly chrome but only markings are a "R" on top of the carrier. Maachining doesn't look like pics I've seen of the YOung either. Also, the gas key is staked. Sooo...who made it? Should I swap it for a Young? I mean for the money, I want what I paid for.

I was just searching for PMAG threads. Are these the standard in competition? Or are most shooters using steel mags with enhancements?

I ordered a Loki. The price was right but so far...not too pleased. I haven't received it yet and can't get 2 emails returned regarding status. Ordered on the 21st. Conformation of order on 22nd. As of yesterday...nothing. I ordered several other parts at the same time and some almost a week later and I've received all of those. I'm not ragging on them I just want an answer. If this falls thru, the seekins sure looks like a good option.

VLTOR upper ordered. Not doing the FDE coating. Haven't receivedy Loki tube yet. Any idea if they ship quick or keep stock?

Noveske non adjustable I wanted the weight of the PRS due to the heavier SPR profile barrel, but that's an easy fix if I don't like it. As for the barrel and lower, they are bougt and paid for. Is it worth selling them to replace with the standard lower and nordic? iI've read that it won't take surefire mags but I've also read that the Surefire mags are not reliable. So I wasn't concerned with inability to use them. As for BCG...that's what the guy building the upper suggested. I'll be the first to admit, I;m not well versed in BCG's

It's the aluminum tube not the CF. I wanted the longer buffer assy. The barrel is the main thing I might consider being overdone. The gen 2 lower also. Probably could have saved $300-$400 by going with a Nordic barrel and standard lower.

Build is going together this week. Do you all think I over built? If so, what would you change? Hey fellas, I'm getting ready to drop the hammer on an upper for 3 gun. I'm torn (and confused) about my barrel selection. I thought I had decided on an 18" Noveske intermediate gas system. Then read about the softer recoiling/smoother rifle length gas system. Turns out Wes @ MSTN is the man with the 18" rifle. Well, I converse with Wes and it ALSO turns out he has 17" rifle length gas system barrels. All that being said, a few questions: Which will be more reliable for 3 gun, most likely with a Titan or MSTN/PRI QC Brake Which will shoot smoother/less recoil? Is it worth the money for a 3 gun set up, I mean a $500 barrel should be GREAT for long range bench shooting, but is it ovekill in 3 gun? The rest of the build will be a Noveske Gen II lower, Magpul PRS stock, timney trigger, probably a Noveske or VLTOR MUIR upper. Haven't made a decision on bolt/BCG, charging handle, and thinking hard on the LOKI 15" tube. So...thoughts?
