  2. Oh and if you measure the dovetail with a caliper, one side is going to be a tad bigger than the other side.

  4. Try to post under Double Alphas section and you might get better answer.

  15. oh, but it does! Straight from their site: "True to 1911 tradition, the Edge has a unique full length slide with front and rear cocking serrations, STI dovetail front sight and STI adjustable rear sight. The Edge comes standard with features such as a stainless steel STI knuckle relief hi-ride grip safety and stainless steel STI ambi-thumb safeties. It comes with an STI stainless steel fully supported, ramped bull barrel. You can add custom serial numbers, colored grips and triggers, hard chrome, engraving inlays and fiber optic or tritium sights. Not only is it the most accurate and reliable handgun on the market, it can now be one of the most beautiful. The Edge ships with one 126mm magazine." Check out the picture as well. Why would they leave a carbon steel barrel in the white? Lol! I didn't even bothered reading that part and went straight to the specs.
  16. Oops my bad. Did not see that. Thanks guys
  17. It does not say stainless on there. Barrel 5.01” STI Bull Barrel, Ramped, Fully Supported. That's the description on the website.
  18. Quick question. Does the STI Edge come with a stainless or a carbon steel barrel? I did a search and couldn't find.
  19. Racer can you tell me what parts did you polish to get it down to 3.75lb pull
  20. The minimum you will need to disable your Springfield's ILS (using your stock housing) is a new Mainspring Cap (Brownells Stock Number 160-116-135), a new Mainspring (Brownells Stock Number 160-116-100) and a Mainspring Cap Pin (Brownells Stock Number 160-116-130. However, if you want to go all out (or keep your ILS MSH complete and intact), spend the extra $4.39 and also pick up The Mainspring Retainer Pin (Brownells Stock Number 160-116-132).
