You can now shoot a XD 45 in CDP and still classify in ESP. No need to shoot two different guns.

First match was 10 years ago. I used H&K USP 40. I ran it cocked and locked so it was ESP division.

Get the Woolrich vest. I've had mine for 8 plus years, very durable. The vests in your link are too short for IDPA. The vest has to cover your firearm when arms are raised to shoulder height.

I also got a 1911 holster from TKW at IDPA nationals a few years back. I love mine! Hope Doug can still make them.
