Another for what it's worth. I've shot RIO's 1145 7.5's since I got my gun from Firebird. Stage 10 @ STI TX , shot AA 1145 in 23 rnd mag. reload, finished far targets with RIO's from behind fault line 1 for 1 on farthest steel

Bought one last month. Used dummy rnds to set feed lips. Went to match, shot long sg stage.First live rnds through it. Flawless. Match this month, same. 8 stage match this wkend,hope for the same.

Hey there PRP.You're right I think. Put in one of your ULT trigger kits early this year and set it up per inst. Worked fine till sat.I thought any expansion or contraction would be proportional to each part but I guess not. Will take some off the trigger stop and beer frig test again.Let you know what happens.

Shot the Sat night Zombie match. Stage 1 LMR, rack the slide, pull the trigger and nothing. Trigger won't release the striker.Rack&try-rack&try-rack&try-nothing.(shot 60 or so rnds day prior-perfect) RO called a guy over who seemed to know about XD's. Pulled the slide and looked at the internals and poked around with a wire to check for junk. Seemed fine. still no release. Played with grip saftey and got it to drop finally. (one tme) Really push on GS and got it to go about 75%. Used duct tape to build a memory pad on the GS. Worked till mag change when I changed grip. Got it going again and sorta finished the stsge from the end barrel. Stage 2 same start. Guy on squad let me use his gun for rest of the match.(many thanks to him for that). Go home and try it again,still bad. Leave it in the garage to warm up and dry out. Couple hours later go out and try it again- works fine. WTF I,ll try this again. Put gun in refrig(beer fridg)for about an hour and tried it again-bad again. Warm up-works fine. Need explanation &/or help Thank's in advance (beer proximity did't help)

i did the same thing. sti steel master. i think the comp works just fine with 115gr @ about 1100 fps. 9mm brass a lot cheaper than 38s.
