You are using small rifle primers? IE you mentioned Fed 205's? -
U might be confusing handgun brass for rifle brass. Federal 223 brass sucks. Plain and simple! It has a reputation for being soft. They shoot the primer pockets loose with just a few reloads. I have had no trouble with Federal 308 brass. Just stay away from the 223!
