Shot the stages today, as always could have done better. Strage 1 , Straight forward, long shots , don't miss. Stage 2 , Shoot the head shots on the bear traps , its safer , Damn they are quick. Stage 3 , Find the targets and only shot them once each Stage 4 hit the steel.!!!!!!!!!!!! Stage 5 start on the right wall Stage 6 Figure out when you are going to shoot the swinger, Plan ahead and stick to it.

What is the time for getting over the gate?? Is there such a thing as a good time or is it a survival thing, get over it in one piece, without breaking something and then shoot the stage. Does being old, overweight, inflexable , and not able to hid the ground running( more likely hit the ground with my butt) Qualify as a a handicap. I'd take the 20% penalty to not have to go over the gate, and just shoot the stage.

I shot in the squad with the 5 Jamicans , (1 from Dallas, at least I could understand him) They were all good shooters, no better or worse that other sandbaggers I've shot with. They worked , they shot well,and they played within the rules. They were nice guys, I would welcome shooting with them again. To bad it was not a 6 stage match , I could have done well. I'll do better next time . Space City here I come.

HELP I have had repeated problems with a particular RO in my area . He has, at every match made bogus calls. When he is questioned about a call , procedural/ foot fault .... says he 's sorry and changes his mind. I have avoided him most of the tme, but not always. The question is , What rule will let me request a new/different RO , before I start, so I don't have to explain the rules to him every time I shoot.

I could not find your other thread, Try the Bill Drill , but make the splits perfectly even, the draw does not count , make the splits all at 0.20 or less . , then combine a good draw 1.00 with good controled splits at 0.20 or less and you have a bill Drill in control that looks and feels great. Remember , Shoot fast and Look Good.

Does this mean that you will stop using my only big stick that I have working.

Guy, As I recall, you and your HE-MAN brother shot pretty damn well on Sat. If I could do as well in Ark,(A dream of mine),as you did in OK, I'll get there late and stay up all night . Thanks to Garrett for helping get my AR fixed so Brian could kick my butt. It was a fun shooting with you. I hope we can do it again . Good luck in Raton. DC

I have not shot a big 3-gun match yet, but it seems like great fun. Where and or when can I get an entry form. I could not make Texas , Easter weekend , I am going to Oklahoma and Arkansas is a sure thing. Esp in Oct.

Congrats to Jeeper. He designed the stage and built the props, for the best stage at the match , and he GOT 1ST in B Lim, Good Show . Winning A lim at Area 4 is Next ? at least I expect him to Place High in A class. Mike P won C Rev and Jeeper did beat him , my appologies for doubting him. The Senior squad 4 was a good Squad to be in.
