  1. The problem is when the demand dies down you have to let those people go plus you have to train them up in the short term. The rush needs to last long enough to justify that. Ah! So productivity drops with new hires and costs go up, costs go up paying overtime to everyone and the longer you keep employees working extended hours and more than 5 days a week the more productivity drops and again costs contimue to rise. I don't know what others would call it; but, I'd call it a vicious circle.
  2. If it's April Fools, its by IDPA, the cancellation notice is on their website.
  3. Anyone see what it went for? Last night it was over $4.00 a pound and once ended it only shows "out of stock".
  4. Besides optics - what all do you guys or can you guys provide or have to provide for yourselves? Whats what and how does it work? The Army provides pretty much everything we need. Being a "gun guy" I'd certainly choose a different rifle and pistol set-up if I had the option, but everything we have is certainly servicable and "good enough". I chose to use my personal Vortex 1-6 (with LaRue Mount) to replace the M68 CCO I was issued. I'm fortunate that I've been around the Army long enough that no one questions my non-standard scope - if a young Soldier tried the same thing he'd stand a good chance of having a well-meaning NCO get in his ass. Our AO is mostly mountainous and typical engagement distances are "way out there" so the issued red-dot wasn't optimal. The Vortex lets me leave the binos back at the FOB since I can check out an area with the scope on 6x if needed. Thanks for the info, I'd wondered how much or how little personal gear y'all were using over there. And Thank You for your service.
  5. It's at Ft. Benning to be picked up over a 6 month period with the price being the winning bid with market adjustments over the 6 months its being picked up. Do you think $2.50 a pound give or take? I have no clue. where the site/link for this. http://www.govliquid...h5DXNhnPHDbEvD2 Little time left on this auction and there are hoops to jump thru to get set up to buy at these auctions.
  6. A million point two and freight is a little out of my league, I'll let you have it.

  8. Fullauto_shooter has provided his own scope in Afganistan, I'm wondering what else they use their own instead of military issue on.
  9. I know one thing for certain, were I in this line of business and not knowing from one minute to the next whats gonna happen next regulatory/law wise, I'd make hay while the sun shines, for tommorrow I might be out of business. That also means, that while I'd probably hire to meet demand, there is no way I'd put money into plant and equipment. Just my two cents.
  10. Chriznak - there are some posts in this thread you might find interesting. http://www.brianenos.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=171962

  13. http://montanagoldbullet.com/public_html/magento/index.php/catalogsearch/result/index/?limit=all&q=bullet Try this, my old link to the pricelist didn't work either. It was up just now.
  14. True. I wound up buying a VersaMax. Originally thought it would be easier and faster to order the M2 3 Gun, it just didn't work out that way. If it was discontinued, I've still got a delivery position for non-existant product and need to see about a refund.
  15. Had one on order at EuroOptics since last August and latest from them/Benelli is they don't know when, if ever.
  16. Here's the rain on the parade. I liked the old website better - was easier to find what you were looking for. Guess that means I'm very old and set in my ways.
  17. Hey - so far its still kind of a free country and capitalism and freedom are opposite sides of the same coin. You can't have one without the other. He owns the primers, he can ask whatever he wants, he may or may not get it; but, he can sure as hell ask it. Would you really want it any other way?
  18. Just starting out I realize everything is just as clear as mud. You might consider setting everything aside and spend a few weeks or months reading and researching all things reloading. As I recall, the local Cabela's has "Intro to Reloading Classes", maybe you can find similiar or talk to people where you shoot, you will find reloaders and they'll help if you ask questions. I bet it won't look so muddy then. http://ultimatereloader.com/ P.S. I think many people will tell you that you might want to wait until you've got some experience before using Titegroup.
  19. Sold a lot and bought just a little in January, will buy back a few things in another couple of months. Gonna work out fair enough I think.
  20. The war has not been won, it is only just beginning.

  22. If that means what it sounds like it means - BUMMER!
  23. FWIW, my card was charged on 3/5 and my order 124 g CMJ was delivered yesterday 3/11.
