Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. Are the barrels ammo sensitive, or user sensitive! Link below is a video where we show numerous different ammos tested with the results. Ammo we purchased from Wal-Mart, ammo found in the bottom of a box in the attic, ammo we loaded. We tested every which way possible, bullet weight/bullet profile, manufacture, and all results point to the same answer. These barrels will shoot great with any ammo, and exceptionally well, hole through hole results at over 25 yards with good quality ammo. https://youtu.be/cS9DrDYnPo0
  2. Below is a picture of the rest that we are using. Just a simple Caldwell rest with bag on a quick made bench made from adjustable shelving from Home Depot. With our barrel nuts,we torque to 45 ft.lbs Our uppers are milspec We are offering to get your rifle so that we can try and see what you are experiencing and be done with this. This isn't voodoo, it's not rocket science.
  3. blckout, you are more than welcome to come to our shop So we can put this to rest. Please give us 48 hours notice so that we can be sure that myself or Adrian are here. Our test rifle is just a standard MBX rifle,POF flat trigger, MBX Buffer system .055 spring, old cutaway handguard, with old 3gun scope with quick detach, that we use for demos/testing. Our rifle is the same as we have shipped to hundreds of other customers. Before we ship their barrels back, we decised to shoot 2 new videos today showing from start to finish shooting a target at 26 yards, these are in response to these allegations of fudged results with Bullet56A and TNREDNECK barrels. Their barrels have not been modified in any way shape or form from the way we received them back. It would have been easier to have found something wrong with our barrels than to go through this rush to judgement and hassle on this forum. All we have done was install the barrel in an upper and shoot it. If that is fudging the results, then I guess we will not be able to please anyone. I will post links to the videos on YouTube once they are uploaded. At that point we feel if this is not acceptable to anyone, then it is no longer worth our time trying to rationally resolve the false allegations.
  4. Having been closed for the Christmas holiday, we have returned to customers complaining about our lack of response time. We at MBX have made an open invitation willing to pay shipping both ways to ship us their rifles, to test them with their barrel that was shot on our test rifle with the results of less than 1inch groups. They have declined this offer and have questioned the validity of our results. In this case we will be return shipping their barrels. There is an open invitation to come to our test range with their rifles for us to test. We have bent over backwards trying to help resolve the customer concerns to find only scepticism and complete denial of our results. At this time we feel with the non cooperation and test results using their barrels, as well as all our daily sales of barrels and rifle builds that are tested for accuracy, this matter is closed.
  5. Hello my name is David Struckoff, I work at MBX. We received the barrel and did our own accuracy testing with multiple different handloads and factory ammo purchased from Wal-Mart. The pictures below are targets we shot with Bullet56A(Rick Craig) barrel off a simple rifle rest at 24 yards. Thank you David Struckoff

  8. thats hilarious. good job keeping your composure and finishing the stage...
  9. 5 WEEKS for trigger job!!! YIKES I couildnt be without my gun for that long... Well I hope the gun comes together for ya and you enjoy it as much as I enjoy my P16/40...
  10. i tell ya these hi-cap mags take alot of work to get them running 100% but once i got mine dialed in with the right combo of parts, they havent let me down yet....knock on wood...
  11. hey welcome, we come up to ridgecrest once a month and shoot at sage pistol league. u should come on down to bakersfield for or uspsa and idpa matchs.
  12. You have to realize that you are dealing with "modifying" a gun. The manufacture will not give you any suggestions or tips when it comes to "modiying" the gun. Thier reliablility stops the minute you change anything that was not OEM.(Original Equipment). If they where to tell you "Oh,well if you put in a 12lb recoil spring with a shock buff, and a 15lb mainspring and then you lightly polish this part" and so on so forth, then if for some reason the gun comes apart and injures you or someone else than you could sue them for giving you the suggestions. I still love my Para and will buy another if I decide to. I wasnt so pleased with it out of the box but with a little "tuning" it runs like a dream. Dont get me wrong it isnt an S_I and wont ever be.Thats just my 2cents take it for whats its worth...
