TMZ, what are you using for the case feed tube?
The spring drop tube assembly from the Case feeder is from Mark7 it’s what they use for the Case feeders.

TMZ, that set up is incredible. But, since you only have one case feeder, how did you get a 1050 without the feeder?
The loading presses are Mark 7 Evolutions, they are not Dillon 1050s
and just purchased the Case feeder separately from Dillon
and Thanks!

Post some pics of your set up when you’re done.

I like that idea with the little catch tubes for the case feeder debris!! Are they just Velcro’d on there?
Yep they were just a couple plastic tubes that 1911 recoil springs came in and I cut them down and Velcro them on there.

Maybe a dumb question but are you 100% sure you got the toolhead secured all the way down to the ram ?

I had the PW the AmmoBot and the Mark7 all of them work great for me just have a little bit different abilities.
PW is as basic as you can get but set up correctly I never had a problem. I would process 40 caliber d-priming sizing and priming and expanding. I had processed over 100,000 rounds with this set up letting it run at times for 8 hours. It served its purpose quite well for me.
if you’re looking for something pretty basic and you are mechanically inclined with some patients to get it set up properly I don’t think you’ll have much problems as a processing machine. Here’s a video actually here’s two videos one I had set up on a 1050 processing and one I had set up on a 650 processing. -

Does anyone set up support for the case feeder and bullet feeder in other than the stand provided for the evolution\revolution? For my new homes reloading bench and I was thinking of mounting them (bullet feeder and the case feeder) to some supports that I affix to the wall or ceiling so it’s out-of-the-way which will make access to the shellplate etc easier. This bench is now up against a wall and not far below the ceiling joists of my workroom. So I have solid supports to anchor the assembly that supports the case feeder and the bullet feeder.
I guess you might want to see a combined them some what.

On the powder drop system I did have the manual Mark7 but seem to like the Dillon a little better, maybe because I’ve been using Dillon product for an awful long time and I had plenty of them on hand but the manual Mark7 Powder drop did work fine for me also.
When it comes to the primer system with the Mark7 I’ve had only the slide style which works perfectly fine for me.
Case feeder at least the old style for the Mark7 I was not happy with so I stuck with the Dillon which always works good for me. Here’s a pic.

Being that they’re using that metal shield did they do away with the shell plate wave spring ?

Thank you so much for all the additional pictures!
Can you flip-flop the bracket that came on the case feeder to move the bullet feeder to the other side ?
My question for this is because I have one case feeder mounted on a pole in the center of my 2 Mark 7s with a bullet feeder on each side and it would be great to convert to this new case feeder if possibly there was a mount for a bullet feeder on both sides. Thanks again for all your pics.

“Cool”
The bracket on the case feeder for mounting the bullet feeder, is there a spot on the left side to add an additional mounting bracket ?
Any more additional pictures of the frame would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for sharing! -

Can anybody tell us any more about this? Can't find it on the M7 site, nor any instructions for removing/replacing the top plate.
Here you go.

I'm keeping my 1050 with mk7 auto drive mostly because I don't want to go through the hassle of setting up and more so fine tuning a new press.
Just wanted to say that idea to put the dial indicator on your last stating to measure COAL is brilliant! I am jealous for sure, I would have to use a seat/crimp combo die(which I probably wont do) to do it on my press but I would like more info anyways? Is this a thing that can be bought or did you have to make it?
I made it myself, well sort of.
I cut down a Dillon powder drop die and picked up the dial indicator from Harbor freight and got lucky enough to find a harden plastic bushing from the hardware store that had the right outer diameter to press into the powder drop die and the right inner diameter to push the dial indicator into. I made a total of 3 of them and it’s a really quick way of seeing the overall link without picking up anything and it doesn’t hurt that I had the last station with nothing for it.

That almost sounds like the nut at the top of the primer stack where the primer alarm is attached to could possibly be over tightened ?

What is the purpose of the dial guage?
Measures the overall length of the round.

TMZ - Am I seeing this correctly - You are running a Dillon Powder Measure system on your EVO?
If I may ask - Why?
Thanks Mark
Previous set ups where Dillon 1050’s and I had quite a few powder measures already set up for previous loads so I thought why not just use them they’ve always been dependable and work great with the powder I use.
-
I used to run the Dillon 1050’s nothing wrong with them but ultimately I absolutely love the Evolutions!
I truly think set up was very very easy.
