Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. This forum has a lot of good info.... http://www.300blktalk.com/forum/
  2. When they posted scores for my last local match, my time on one stage was 653 seconds! Pretty sure I'd remember standing around for 11 minutes shooting one stage... :-)
  3. Glad it is "working". Not to state the obvious, but did you try moving rotating everything over one more spot? My cases slide in without a hitch at all. Maybe I got lucky with just having to rotate it one spot.
  4. Is this the same issue you're having? I had the same problem and all I did was just rotate the die carrier one position over and re-seat all the dies. Everything lined up perfectly after that.
  5. 147gr RN X-Treme bullets, 0.357" dia. 4.35gr Ramshot Silhouette, 1.155" OAL Beretta M9A1, 4.9" barrel
  6. could be a possibility coming soon... http://www.engadget.com/2012/02/22/pivothead-video-glasses-hands-on/
  7. Here's an email I got from them...
  8. That looks really good! How did you do that and what did you use?
  9. Wanted to see if anybody has any insight on my load data: The VV load manual lists 3.8gr N320 @ 1.142" OAL for a 124gr plated bullet will give 1000fps out of a 4" test barrel. I loaded 3.7gr N320 @ 1.080" OAL, 125gr Xtreme plated FP. Shooting out of a 4.9" barrel (Beretta 92), it feels really soft and was quite accurate but I'm afraid it might not make minor PF. From what I have read, the difference between a 4" and a 5" barrel is around 40-50fps and it looks like if I interpolate the load data, each 0.1gr of powder is roughly 20-25fps. So, THEORETICALLY (my theory at least) is that I should be around 1015-1030 fps (1000- 25 + 40)which would make PF, barely. However, I don't have access to a chrono to actually verify this. Has anybody loaded something similar and can provide some insight? I also loaded some at 4.0gr N320 which had much more recoil and didn't seem as accurate.
  10. With my $10 primer tray buzzer mod, I loaded about 850 rounds over three sessions without a single primer issue. Well worth the investment! Although I won't guarantee it always work, I have even continued priming a few rounds when the tray was completely empty with just primers in the chute and still no priming issues occurred. As many people have pointed out, one of the keys is to keep the system free of stray powder - so I do use the air compressor to blow out the shell plate and priming area every few hundred rounds too.
  11. Any insight as to what's going on with BBI?
  12. 4.5gn WSF 125gn Xtreme FN Plated (0.357 dia) 1.080" OAL 4.9" Beretta 3.85gn WSF 147gn Xtreme RN Plated (0.357 dia) 1.155" OAL 4.9" Beretta Both are pretty accurate and soft as mcracco says. Not sure of the PF for each - need to chrono. Loading info says it "should" make minor. However, my new favorite is: 4.3gn Silhouette 147gn Xtreme RN Plated (0.357 dia) 1.155" OAL 4.9" Beretta Very accurate and "should" also make Minor.
  13. fixed the link. Thanks PC! Here it is again...
  14. On a roll today... here is another tip (corrected link)and a follow-up to an earlier post about my primer feeder mod using a cell-phone buzzer. I automated it so I no longer have to push a button.
