  1. The new grips look awesome
  2. Are you talking about the sear face where it contacts the hammer hooks or the sides? I polished the sides didn't touch the face.
  3. Did you do anything to the sear or is it all polishing?
  4. Nice Videos. Gump I'd be surprised if it went off. Torogi your main is awesome. Have you set them both up the same and the main is just that much better? My pull is real similar to your back up.
  5. Mix parts, have to try that. what do you get out of your other s2?
  6. First I just want to thank all the people that have contributed their knowledge on tanfos. It's helped greatly while working on my s2. I was wondering what kind of pull weights you guys get or can be acheived? I just finished a second go at a trigger job and am very happy with the results. So that got me wondering what can be acheived. My first attempt was a basic polish and it didn't do much except smooth out the pull. This time I pulled the sear and polished all surfaces that touch one another. Installed a EG delta hammer. Ended up trimming one coil off a wolf 13#hammer spring because of length. I repolished the trigger bar and plunger and installed the cgw cz reduced power trigger return spring. Now the trigger feels pretty good. The stacking is reduced greatly, trigger pull is smooth. Pull is 7.5# da, 3.5# sa. Is this typical? Is there room to get it down more? Also, do you guys run yours with the firing pin safety in place or removed? While working on mine I lost the little spring, so currently mines not installed. Thanks, David
  7. 8# recoil 13# hammer. I have a cz trigger return I haven't tried yet, supposed to drop trigger pull 1/2#
  8. Call vz and ask them to make grips for them.
  9. I load 3.2 of titegroup to 1.135 oal for minor using 180 snscast coated
  10. I imagine it's like all things with the fed if you don't pay them it becomes a nightmare of bs. $50 turns into $500 turns into irs into $1500, etc...
  11. It said for "misc aluminum parts" if I remember it right. Really wasn't expecting it or I would've reconsidered. I've order CR stuff from South Africa before and didn't get billed.
  12. A stock 2 in 40 minor shoots really flat!
  13. So no one else has been billed from US Customs??
  14. We all need to call VZ grips and convince them to start making grips for the tanfos
  15. Hope you get it sorted out. Nothing worse than a finicky gun.
  16. Check out henningshootsguns.com he's got some good videos on disassembly/reassembly
  17. NY, I load 40 minor with 180gn sns cast coated flat point, 3.2gn's of titegroup and a length of 1.135. Makes around a 135pf out of my Stock 2, next time I load I might back them down to 3.0 and see how they feel. But the stock 2 feels real nice at a 135pf now so... Don't know if it'll help but just the other day I was burning of some junk 40 minor loads I made last year, they were way to light, and had jambs that look just like what your showing. I questioned if the slide was coming back full stroke so that it had enough power to strip and seat the round under the extractor and go into battery. I guess you could call it short stroking, the slide came back far enough to pick up the round but doesn't have enough to spring tension to get it under the extractor. I run regular 40 mags with Steoger pads. Do you use a Lee Factory Crimp die? If not I would highly recommend one! What kind of fps or pf is your load making? Nealio, whats a u-die??
  18. Currently using Hodgdon Titegroup, but I really like Universal Clays when its available.
  19. 180grn SNS Casting coated bullets. No smoke and priced right
