  1. It sounds like you did so. LoL. Well yeah, but got some flack about it from the squad and just the general rabble, rabble.. Was more wondering if there was a specific rule that would support it. I don't regret what I did. They were given a reshoot vs zero on the stage or DQ. Rather someone pissed for my mistake vs an accident. Thank you.
  2. Can someone that is a spectator on a stage, and the shooter not only does something that was declared a forbidden action prior to match start, but was just generally unsafe, Can they (spectator) stop the shooter? 10.2.11 says if they do the forbidden action they would be stopped and then given a Zero for the stage. Issue here is the RO on the stage did not stop the shooter. I saw the forbidden action and yelled stop..
  3. Area 8 this year. When we arrived to the stage next to the Chrono, we were asked for 7 rounds, which were put into a bag with our info. After we shot the stage, we went to Chrono.. Cleared our gun, put it on the table, the Chrono person checked the gun in the box, weighed it, then shot 3 rounds through the chrono. Then took the avg of the three and determined your PF. I noticed when they handed me my stuff back, they had pulled the bullet from a round and weighed it. I was so paranoid about making PF that I nearly freaked when he said "someone modified their gun" when he put it on the scale and it was heavy.. Something I had not even thought about.. But I was within the allowed limits for Production..
  4. LoL, that sort of happened to me this weekend. I normally don't have THAT much trouble on steel, but playing with new loads and bullets is really throwing a monkey wrench into things. I think I dumped an entire mag trying to hit a small popper, and finally the RO started calling my shots until I hit the damn thing. Even the bad matches have been a lot of fun and a learning experience. I've already been in dead last place. I think even a few DNF people placed better than me. So I can't get any worse ..
  5. Search Youtube for "SCCSFA USPSA Stage 2 & 3 07/16/2011" That is the stage that they are talking about, same day of the incident. At the 2:03 mark in the video, you can see the steel targets a little better.. The left most is angled forward, the one next to it looks forward, but it actually has a concave center, either shot that much or from a rifle. There should be highly visible First Aid Station/Kits placed either at each bay or central location that can be gotten to quickly. And part of the Match Briefing, letting shooters know the locations. At the above incident, another shooter actually had a first aid kit in his bag.
