You are correct, the CORE models are not on the approved Production List. I have queried USPSA officials and they have stated the reason why is that S&W hasn't submitted the appropriate paperwork. I am still scratching my head over this. Does anyone else have anymore info on this matter? That is the same reasoning used with the 40L. A 4 year old pistol that still has not made the Production approved list.

I like the looks of the Warren tactical/Sevigny competition sights for my M&P. Anyone have experiance with them?

I certainly hope so, though I'm not sure S&W made enough of the 40Ls to meet the production number requirements. I'd really like to know just how many of the "L" pistols were made, it just seems not a lot of people have them. It was just dumb luck that I found mine NIB at a gun store. It would be nice if NROI would consider the fact that the 40L is, for all intents and purposes, is the same gun as a 5" 40 Pro and just include the L in with the approval of the Pro. Even if that never happens, I've got a sweet Limited Division gun! That is what I hope. Bought the L in .40 so I could upgrade it when I go to Limited. It sucks being on a tight budget, will be worse if I wasted my money.

Sounds good for the PRO. Will that include the L.

Your not going to find one any cheaper, if you can find any at all in the next few months. Especially with Trijicon sights and three mags. Go for it.

I have been looking at the Black Ice holster. From what I have been told, it is legal with the DOH adapter removed. Is that correct? My friend loves his Center of Mass holster, but they don't have it for the M&P's yet according to their website. Rob
