I noticed that the ports on the comp are closer together on one side than the other. So, which way is up? the side with the more narrow space between ports? or vice versa? Thanks

yes i did, It has nyloc on it , so it shouldn't come loose

I used 3 washers on the top side of where the handle goes through the press base. A freind only needed 2. Works perfect now

Actully, the pimers where missing the catch compleatly. I did find the problem. My decaping pin got bent somehow, and was pushing the primers out on an angle

i just got my casefeeder for my 550. One thing i found is the spent primer catch is further away then it used to be, resulting in more than half of my spent primers flying all over the place. does anyone know of a remady for this? thanks

I shot a glock for 2 years. and got somewhat good with it. Then got a 1911. Swithing was tuff for a while. going from a light gun with a relitive long and heavy trigger pull to a heavier gun with a light and very short trigger pull was difficult when you are used to a certain way. I can say for me, that going back and forth would probably hurt me in the the long run. Just my .02

I don't have the gun anymore, but i think it was a 13 pound over a Tungston guide rod. Anoter thing to consider if using th Carver mount. have the plate that the scope sits on slide back about an inch, so that the scope is more centered on the gun. it creats less dot movement and will not get blasted by the ports

I built an open 35 with that same barrel. the only thing i had to do was use a lighter spring. and depending on your scope mount. I used a carver mount, and had to lower the ejection port. One thing to note, the chamber is very tight. you may have to moke your OAL a little longer depending on which bullets you are going to use. Good luck

I shot Craigs Bedell last weekend and had another guy's 38 super to compare it to. Craigs 9mm shorty was lest violent and just as flat as the 38 super. One thing that surprised me, was how light and pointable it was. It is actully lighter then my STI limited gun. It is a great gun, and If I ever go OPEN, I'll definatly get a Bedell. I used a G35 for limited for 2 years. can't see where it is slower than a G22. I would set it up just how you have it ther ein your post except: run a 13 pound spring. and consider an alluminum magwell over the brass, you don't need the extra weight, the tungston guild ron will take care of any muzzle flip Good luck

I power lifted with free weights for several years. now with little kids around, i can't get to the gym like I used to. I bought a bow flex extreme, and love it. all the work outs on it are like using dumbells. you can do more on it fast then at the gym. it exercizes all your fexor muscles like free weights. It's a well built machine. alot better then I was actully expecting. I definatly recomend it.

I you cut of some coils off the mainspring, will it lighten the trigger pull? Or will you start running into light primer strikes? it is a 17# spring. or would going to a lower power spring do the same thing?

I had the same problem with mine. I ended up beveling the lip of the extension itself. the follower legs get caught on it and it stops. If you push real hard sometimes it will snap past it. don't cut any coils off your springs. I did that also and have feeding problems as the mag empties.

Has anyone had any experience with the Arrendondo holster. also wondering what people think og the ghost holster also. I have had CR SPeed holsters, and I love them. I just bought an STI and need a new holster and wondering if maybe a Ghost or the Arrendondo might be a better choice. any help would be great. thanks. also, I forgot about the Limcat and SafariLand. I built an open 35, I know 40 is different, but I use 155 gr bullets which are light so i can utilize a hotter load to create more pressure, i have a KKM barrel with a four port comp that helps push the nose down. with a glock being so light. try a tungston guide rod too. with the slid locking back, i just got rid of the slide release totaly. most S_I guns dont lock back after last round anyway. I'm going to put lighting cuts in it to make the slide work faster. Tom Novak was supposed to make a slide racker, haven't heard if he is producing them yet. i also slid the scope mount plate on the carver mount back to center it on the gun to minamize dot movement. I am very happey with the performance of the KKm barrel. very accurate. if you have any questions or want pics E-mail me dbohach@myway.com

Has anyone ever shot a G27 (Pimp Gun)in production? if so,what mags did you use and what kind of mags would be practical. I have a bunch of G22 mags. are they allowed, or do you have to use G27 mini mags, and can you use extensions. Also, are the factory Glock 27 11 round mags production legal? I know this isn't the best gun for production, I shoot 2 G35's in L10, Limited and open. Use a 27 for carry, and just thought about using it in production for fun. any help would be great. Thanks

I have the same set up on a 35, I put a KKm comped barrel on it and it blasted my C-more pretty good. What I did, is have a Machinest drill and tap holes so you can slide the scope and the plate that it sits on back. to prevent the shells from getting jammed under the scope, you will have to lower the ejection port. i use mine for open and it runs great. the extra weight from the carver mount and the comped barrel really makes it shoot flat. Have had guy's that shoot S_I open guns say it's just as good as theirs. I can't post a pic, but send me your E-mail and I can send you some. Good luck

I shot a couple thousand of their .40 ammo. Got it www.csbrass.com in utah. reliable and accurate. needed .03 more grains of tight group to make major over montana gold. I'd get them again if the oportunity arrises.

I just recently got into a Open gun, and trying to find a load. just curious on what are optimal dot characteristics to look for? I'm using a C-More. should the dot go to the top of the glass or go part way? Should the dot snap back to center? Thanks for any input in advance.

Thanks, Yes it is for a Glock 35. With all the weight i added so far, it shoots really flat, but I just want to see if I can make it shoot any flatter. I am looking at a KKm barrel with four ports. two of them on the sides. Will the side comps make a difference at all is what I'm really trying to ask. Thanks again.

I am going to get a comp, but which one is more effective for reducing muzzle flip? (of the 2 I'm looking at) a 2 port comp or a 4 port of which 2 of the ports are on the side facing out. Any help will be great Thanks

I use uncle mikes douple mag pouches. for $15 a piece, you can't go wrong.

I put a Glockmeister comp trigger spring in my G35 and Haven't had a single problem. It lightened up my trigger pull tremdously. add a reduced power striker spring, and do a .25 cent trigger job, and you'll have a awsome trigger set up. the only problem I've had is high primers.
